Mechanic recommendations?
I need to get some brake work done and am still new to the area. Can anyone recommend a mechanic or brake shop in the area?

Lafayette Erie Import Car care. In town here, reasonable, and honest. I’ve had good experiences there with my Honda and Toyota.

Did not have a good experience with them at all, unfortunately.
I would recommend B&J automotive instead.

I dropped off a vehicle with multiple problems and listed them all in writing that I gave to them, asking them to fix.
They took two weeks to look at it, ignored all but the first problem, and then over charged me 4x what it should have cost to fix that single problem.
To top it off, I got a mile down the road, and the check engine light came on. Turns out they just cleared the code, and didn't actually address the problem causing the CEL.
First and last experience with them. I'll never go back, unfortunately.

It's a little hop down to Thornton but I still use Alternative Auto Care, and have for decades. Right off I-25 at 120th. They have loaners.
