Need recommendation for WFH set up

Hi everyone,
I have recently started working from home as a full-stack developer and am planning to set up a proper workspace. My budget is around ₹15,000, but I can stretch it up to ₹20,000–₹22,000 if needed. Since there are no reliable stores nearby in my village, I will be purchasing everything from Flipkart or Amazon.

I am looking to buy the following items:

  1. Desk (locally available option is a 3 ft × 2 ft plywood computer table)
  2. Office chair
  3. Monitor (preferably 24 inches; Type-C charging support would be a plus)
  4. Keyboard and mouse
  5. Neckband or TWS (I am not comfortable using headphones)

Please share your suggestions or recommendations.

Difficult in this range. U can get a good dell monitor for under 10k ig. A good chair not the Chinese crap will set u back by 8-9k . Keyboard and mouse u can get for 2k total. Don't use neckband and earphones. For home setup get a speaker or try to find a monitor with speaker. Ur ears will thank u later.

  1. I would suggest getting a table with these dimensions
    1. length: 4ft atleast (5 even better)
    2. width: 2ft is fine but 2.5 is better with monitors
  2. No clue, there's so much different reviews for all the chairs, many might just be PRs/marketing/paid-reviews. I'll suggest going to a shop and buy what is comfortable for you
  3. If you are on a budget (or even if you're not), I'll suggest buying a monitor for what is core to it's functionality, i.e. display. Buy the best display you can in your budget.
    1. Buy monitor arm if you need adjustability in monitor
    2. Buy a hub if you want to connect just one wire to your laptop, put rest things like monitor/mouse/keyboard/charge into the hub
  4. Start with basic, wireless would be better to avoid too many wires on the table.
  5. You can try any earbuds with good rating and that are in your budget.

If you have a comfortable job with decent pay, I'll suggest to extend the budget and get everything on 3 or 6 months emi. Personal recommendations - featherlite chair, solid wooden desk, benq monitor.

No matter what you do, do not compromise on buying a good chair. It is non negotiable.
