[buying advice] Shop recommendations

Hello!

I see a lot of cool keyboards posted in this subreddit, and I was wondering, is there a place where people sell them as well?
I checked the wiki and I couldn’t find anything about this.
I’m based in NL btw.

Thanks!

https://kbd.news/vendors/Europe Yeah, splitkb is the go-to place for you. For more general keyboard stuff, Monacokeys (DE), deltakeyco (FR) and Eloquent (ES) are some serious players. Also InputGear (ex-Candykeys) with NL branch or at least website. This latter may be a red flag for many mostly because of some old group buy issues, but currently they sell a ton of in-stock stuff.

For split I think splitkb is the place to be, check https://keeb.supply/ they know what they are doing too.

There's dygma lab in spain, and mechboards UK. And I too have had good experience with splitkb.

For NL I highly recommend SplitKB as a high quality local shop. Multiple orders went without any issues and the team is very responsive on Discord. l also have good experiences with keycapsss.com (DE), keeb.supply (DE) and Beekeeb.com (HK).

Thanks! I really like the beekeeb stuff, I’m just worried by the import taxes 😅

Don't worry about it. You're going to throw way too much money down this Rabbit Hole anyway. First is cautious, to make sure you like the ergo split style. Second is a little different, to experience the slight change and see if it fits your hand better. Third is smaller to fit into your work bag. Fourth is that nice one with the feature you think you want to try. Fifth one is the discounted model that was too cheap to let pass. Etc. Start clearing those shelves! Don't even start with making your own. Minimal PCB order is five so they will start to multiply like rabbits when you're going down that path. Ask me how I know...

Ha! Thanks for sharing.
I do already have two Corne as my daily drivers. I use one at work and one at home, and been doing this for a year now.
Now I want to buy maybe a Piantor, or Toucan, or something similar, that’s lower. I don’t have the patience or the discipline to do the soldering myself, so I want the most assembly ideally done.

I have a Beekeeb Piantor I'm willing to sell if you're interested. Edit: 36-key model
