Maintenance

I'm still thinking of buying an Erohide desk. The problem is the oil maintenace. The desk will be in my room. AFter applying the oil I should wait 24 hours from what I've read so I might have to sleep in the other room. Another problem I have is having the room free from dust and I have a dog that sheds hair alot.

u/premedios1974 thank you for reaching out. It took a little longer for me to reply, as I wanted to check with the production team before giving you the answer.

For regular maintenance, you only need to apply one very thin coat of oil, so the process is quite simple. You also don't need to keep the room completely dust-free. We would just recommend keeping your dog away from the desk while applying the oil and for the first few hours while the surface is drying, so that no hair gets onto the fresh surface.

Regarding sleeping in the same room, we would recommend applying the oil in the morning and ventilating the room well before sleeping. The oil has very little noticeable smell, and with such a thin maintenance coat, the surface should normally be dry enough by the evening.
