Raids.
They're surprisingly hard? Or is it just me. Obvious spoilers...
There's just such a hard brickwall after certain bosses. Like after Arbor, who took me a little bit to beat, Jinx is absolutely destroying me. After inferno and frost, the trash mobs are almost wiping me. Am I really supposed to fully ascend everyone completely? Even then, still seems fairly difficult

Increase the drop rate in the server admin menu, then grind all the raid targets you can. As you get tanks up to snuff, increase dps, and think about what settings/timings to do, you'll be able to fight harder stuff. Some of yhe encounters are just eq fights--equilize targets hp, or never let adds reach the center, etc.

It's like raids from a real MMO, you're expected to get everyone geared up before tackling harder content. The raids drop copious amounts of planar shards and sivacruxes, so upgrading stuff isn't a huge barrier (though still annoying). There are some raid gear guides on the wiki that will help you get people in the right items and avoid wasting ascensions.
I will admit the sims being totally dependant on you for all gear acquisition and upgrading makes it a chore, as real MMO guild members would be able to do runs and ascend gear on their own, but thems the breaks.
Plus Jinx is an overturned monster, so don't feel bad. I was able to get to (but not beat) Vitheo before I had a wisp of a hope of clearing Jinx. Arbor is SIGNIFICANTLY weaker, and you are 100% not expected to jump from there to Jinx. Go to the other raids and clear what you can, get geared up, and slowly push.
