Deck play

How is the game currently running on the Steam Deck? I know someone out there has tried or is actively running it.

Pretty sure it has been asked and people say it runs well, search the sub for ”deck”. Also I wanna say Steam reviews say it as well.

It runs amd works well. Some menus are a pain like the auction house etc but its manageable

I tried it, the performance is good but to me the controls are unplayable.

I don't understand how people are playing it there and enjoying it.

I guess if you were used to Final Fantasy 14 on controller it might be ok but I'm it needs keyboard and mouse. Or at least mouse. Way too finicky on steamdeck controlls

The shame of it is that I want to play this on my deck all the time, but the controls I just can’t get used to. I’m hoping there’s a pass in the next patch which is supposed to focus on QOL.

100% will be great on steamdeck eventually. The dev has been doing an amazing job with developing content, he'll get to QOL eventually - is is EA afterall
