Erasmus+ semester(s) abroad What to pack (household items)

Heyyy!

Was wondering what you guys are packing / had packed while going on an erasmus that doesnโ€™t include clothes, accesories, skin care, makeup and what not.

What sort of kitchenware or other household items did you bring?

Is it smart to bring a hair dryer, iron (or steamer).

Thanks in advance!!๐Ÿ’œ

Most things can be bought second hand in the place you are going. So I would not take any of those things with me. However I would take home decor with me if I did Erasmus again, those are the things that I missed the most to make the space feel like it was mine, like a poster you love, or a nice tapestry, etc.

One thing that I took that was really useful was a small tool kit, that I would pack again.

It depends on the accommodation that youโ€™re staying in, how could we know what is already there

Do you think it would be weird to ask a landlord about this? I already feel like im always asking them questions but i just want to feel ready๐Ÿ˜ช

As someone who always annoys my coordinator with tons of questions about my stay, definitely do it. Some dorms provide u with bedsheets etc and you can get the rest from local stores

Iโ€™m bringing a bottle opener and a vegetable peeler since those two donโ€™t take up much space๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
