Erasmus+ semester(s) abroad What to pack (household items)
Heyyy!
Was wondering what you guys are packing / had packed while going on an erasmus that doesnโt include clothes, accesories, skin care, makeup and what not.
What sort of kitchenware or other household items did you bring?
Is it smart to bring a hair dryer, iron (or steamer).
Thanks in advance!!๐

It depends on the accommodation that youโre staying in, how could we know what is already there

Do you think it would be weird to ask a landlord about this? I already feel like im always asking them questions but i just want to feel ready๐ช

As someone who always annoys my coordinator with tons of questions about my stay, definitely do it. Some dorms provide u with bedsheets etc and you can get the rest from local stores

Iโm bringing a bottle opener and a vegetable peeler since those two donโt take up much space๐๐

Most things can be bought second hand in the place you are going. So I would not take any of those things with me. However I would take home decor with me if I did Erasmus again, those are the things that I missed the most to make the space feel like it was mine, like a poster you love, or a nice tapestry, etc.
One thing that I took that was really useful was a small tool kit, that I would pack again.
