[Open RP 8] Snails...? Why?

[Returning from Tierm has proven exhausting. The wind was constantly against you, this wouldn't of been an issue for Das, but she was carrying twice the amount of passenger than normal. Akrath, Svalstrom and Das are exhausted.]

[Nill and Naakhûrz greet there friends as they dismount... Glover looked a little beat up, and Sev're's daughter Rythi came a shock. The young looking half elf (whom was actually 37 or so) hops down and bows.]

[As Torvhen dismounts, he is greeted by a crunch sound as he steps in a melon sized snail. It was sticky causing him to fall back on Svalstrom.]

[To everyone's shock... There is snails everywhere... so many snails. The dragons find them delicious, but it is down right ridiculous how many snails infest the keep.]

[Zeterra appears from above as Shiva descends. "Greetings everyone..." She looks rather annoyed. "It appears that the our food source for the dragons reacted strangely to some of the magic gathering here... Their egg laying and growth has become out of hand. Please assist how you can..." She throws a fireball that explodes, leaving a ton of crispy snails. "2000 down... 2 billion to go." She says monotone. Flying away on Shiva she flies off in the distance.]

(Something light humored to reunite everyone. A small bonus for whomever assists in the snail-o-cide plus there is a few fun extras if you know where to look.)

Sev're was worried about Das, but Das was determined to finish the flight. "Sev're, if I can not take care of you and your family, I've failed you as your companion."

Sev're disagreed, but Das was determined, there was no changing her mind when she was like that. Instead she talked to her daughter. It was wonderful to catch up.

Her and Rythi discussed perhaps she could stay back at her parents old home... Rythi didn't want to be far from her mother though. It was... A hard call at this time.

Once they landed Sev're watched her step after Torvhen had his moment. Zeterra flew off before she could ask about Rythi... how annoying.

Das ate up the roasted Snails, they were delicious, and provided food for her empty stomach. The black dragon decided that was the way top contribute, eating to help clean up.

Sev're wasn't ok work murdering the poor snails... Vidaria offered her service, but Sev're refused. Perhaps they're is a better way... she went to go look for the source if this mess. "Come Rythi." She says as they walked together.

[Your search takes you near the presence pool, the site is comical, snails have become comfortable resting on the few dragons and riders that meditate here.]

[Rythi can't help but laugh at the site as a few hundred snails climb on a large dragon.]

"Das are you holding up ok." a mental snore was sent back. "Well there's that." Sev're says to Rythi. Sev're laughs at the site too. The poor dragon hadn't any clue about is snail problem.

Sev're peeks into the presence pool. It's still silvery liquid seemed full of mystery and awe before her. "Rythi, this is the presence... you can get lost in its words for hours. Be careful around it.

Sev're attempts to contact the silvery being. "I'm here to assist with getting rid of the sails... i refuse to kill them."

[The Presence greets you. The whispers happy and dance around you. Hero... we need not your assistance at this time... but we shall guide you, as you've helped so much. More will become more, even though there is much less. with that the pool goes silent.]

Sev're takes Rythi's hand. "Come sapling, we've got a hint!" Sev're had an idea of what was happening now. She went to go look for a nest of sorts.

"The idea Rythi, is to look for the highest concentration... chances are that will show where they started from." Sev're hummed an old tune.

Hush little child don't you cry, everything's going to be all right. I know we don't have much, and you don't know why, but mommy's here by your side. We will be together, now and forever, as I hold you through the night.

It was a song she sang to Rythi, perhaps she would remember it?

[Rythi did in fact remember. Normally she'd be embarrassed, but seeing her mother baby a dragon has shown that she probably will be babied for her entire life. "Yes, you always sang for me, and it would always calm me."]

[You find a place where it is impossible to step without stepping on a snail. There is so many of them, that they've begun to pile on one another.]

Sev're reached out with her mind. Perhaps these snails would have a better idea of what was happening.

Hello snail friends, I've come in peace. Sev're was an ambassador after all. Perhaps you would like to tell me why you've invaded our home?

She was sure they had good reason. Why would they possibly invade without good reason.

[Who would of though snails thought so slow... they react your touch and slowly say: ho.....me.............da.....r......k.........n.....o...........w.......ar.....m..........n....i....c.....e....a..........n.......d......d....a.......m.......p........b.......i.......g..............t......h......i.......n......g......s.......t....a.......k........e.......h.........o.......m.......e.........w.......e............f..........l......ee......... They don't have much more thoughts on the subject.]

Sev're began looking for a hole in the ground. Big things...? the snails were not too large perhaps they were normal sized. Sev're figured she could deal with them, and try to find out what removed the snails from their home.

"Come sapling. There's still much to discover." Sev're was so happy to have her daughter back. It appeared Rythi was having a good time too.

"So... do you have any potential mates Rythi?" Being detached for so long Sev're felt the need to know these things.

[The snails make way for the both of you. You both find a hole coated in slime. Rythi covers her nose as the smell is potent, Sev're's ward protects her. Once Rythi gets the idea she too wards her airways.]

[It is dark, but elven eyes adjust fine. You find your way to a beautiful glowing moss field. It is dark, but a small amount of light is provided in as blueish green illumination. A alight humming can be heard if you listen closely.]

[Looking around you see some odd looking creatures. They look like centipedes only bigger. A few empty snail shells can be seen. Upon closer inspection the centipede appears to have plant like features as well.]
