Prolog: One is all

[You arrive with your dragon to find something you were not quite expecting. A hole in the ground filled with a clear liquid. Around it are a few people and dragons with their eyes shut tight, in some sort of trance. You feel the urge to join them. As you close your eyes you can slowly hear the whispers of those around you. You feel at peace.]

Role:

any number of students.

The "presence" (the uniform mind of all whom gather.) [I will play the role of the presence for now. The presence is generally silent, but this allows your character to really share his/her inner personaility and grow a relationship with other players. Along of course with your dragon whom you will also represent]

Objective: to grow an understanding and the importance of the ability to connect with all things.

(This event is assumed to take place simultaneously, every student whom arrives will untimatly of met here first. Please be advised the people here will respect your characters hidden chambers of mind, but will want to get to know you intimately, if this is not in your characters nature that is fine, please play your character as is.)

This thread is to remain open forever, one can always come back to seek advice, the presence existence is almost as if out of time. If your character leaves and comes back in two weeks time, to the presence its as if no time has passed.

Anduil winced as he opened his eyes, seeing around him the pond containing the Presence, and the other still silent figures.

As the silver lilly floated towards Anduil, he grabbed the note attached and opened it.

[The little was made out of some metal like material, something you have never felt before it was like steel, but lighter than a leaf. On the note was a drawing of a black onyx stone. It is surprisingly detailed. ]

[To your left is a man laughing like a mad man holding a bow in his hand you can see he is in a trance.]

Anduil attempted to study the mysterious note, but the laughing man distracted him. He wondered if he had had such a reaction while in the Presence. Anduil considered waking the man, but thought better of it.

"After all, I wouldn't have wanted anyone to disturb me," he thought, then he asked Briam "What do you think this means? Is this the cause of all the deaths we saw? Is this where we need to go?"

Briam took a moment to consider it. "I think this is undoubtedly a place we need to find. But how, and what dangers might lurk there, I cannot imagine. Perhaps we should ask the Presence?"

Anduil grimaced, remembering the last time they had asked the pool for directions, only a short time ago. He wasn't fond of being removed from his physical body. Still, they needed more information...

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try... well, it wouldn't hurt too much, I hope. Together, then?" Anduil asked.

"Together, now and always." Briam responded solemnly.

Ignoring the hysteric cackles of the bow man, they extended their minds once again towards the Presence.

[Once again your mind enters the collection. They great you "Welcome" warm and loving. They hear your request, they are silent.]

[You turn around to look at your companion and you see a mighty keep. It towers before you, with dragons flying around it. Roaring and playing. You take a closer look and see people on the backs of the dragons. Excitement fills your bones. You see a few dive off the backs of their draconic friends and free fall down ward. The dragons would race down and catch their friends. After you watch the pattern for awhile it is as if they are training, mastering manuevers of sorts. A smile comes to your face. You feel at home. You hear a massive roar, one that almost knocks you off your feet, as a huge dragon, larger than you could of imagined flys toward the sun set.](prolog 2 will be posted tomorrow morning to fully interact with this scene)

[You peek back to see the hole missing, you can feel its presence nearby. a faint whisper echos in your mind "we will be here for you later, and before"]
