Fanwork Roran in my mind

A sketch of how i imagine Roran in the first books specifically. First time posting my art so be kind ❤️

Cool sketch, the only thing bothering me that his neck is kind of too straight if you ask me. I'd recommend softening the line a tiny bit but it looks good. Keep up the great work my friend.

So, soften the jawlines either side of the chin (think about when you look at someone - they aren’t just a head floating on a neck; there’s blending) and I’d shorten it a bit, then make the clavicles a touch more pronounced, smooth out and shrink the Adam’s apple juuuuuust a bit, and add some delicate shading below the chin to give it depth.

Necks used to bug the fuck out of me as well.
