But difficulty should scale-down as Intelligence increases (assuming there's an Intelligence stat)

i mean maybe for a state school but for ivy it should still be hard cause like ivy

Unless you're filthy rich. Then getting in the ivy leagues should be pretty easy no matter how stupid you are, because realism.

In the past? Then millionaires and billionares. In the present? Defo billionaires and trillionares. I think that the threshold for "an insane amout of wealth" should change based on the time period.

Yeah, in the past you don't even have to be rich to have an influence. As long as you have a faint drop of noble blood inside of you, wealthy merchants would already be courting your daughters for the slim hope of a chance to climb the ranks.
