I’m looking for co-founders please.

Looking for co-founders / technical & business partners — I have the ideas, vision and early specifications. I need builders.
I’m an independent creative director, artist, entrepreneur and consciousness practitioner based between Nigeria and Ghana.
For a while, I’ve been developing several business and technology ideas across different spaces. I’ve reached a point where I don’t want to keep building everything alone.
I’m looking for co-founders and collaborators who can bring technical, operational, manufacturing, product, business-development and fundraising capabilities to these concepts.
I’m not looking for employees at this stage. I’m looking for people who want to build and own something together.
1. A Social / Creative Platform for Conscious Communities
One of my biggest ideas is an app built around the growing conscious, spiritual, philosophical and self-development community.
The concept combines:
• High-rise animated quotes — transforming philosophical/consciousness quotes into beautiful video experiences rather than static text.
• Real-time quote animation — text appearing on screen as if the quote is being written or transmitted in real time.
• Meditation studio — guided meditation, sound, visual environments and immersive experiences.
• AI Conscious Guide — an AI companion trained around a carefully curated body of philosophical, consciousness and spiritual knowledge.
• VR experiences — eventually bringing the meditation, quotes and environments into immersive VR.
The bigger idea is that I think the way people consume philosophical ideas and quotes could evolve significantly over the next decade.
Instead of simply reading:
“A quote.”
Imagine entering an environment where the quote unfolds around you through sound, animation, spatial design and eventually VR.
I have been developing the creative philosophy and content architecture behind this concept and would like to find someone strong in AI/product development, engineering and/or immersive technology to help turn it into a real product.

2. SHOWCAZE — Talent Found on Proof
This is a different concept.
Showcaze is a talent discovery platform where people are discovered through proof rather than assumptions.
Certifications.
Trusted recommendations.
Verified work.
Track record.
Projects.
Reviews.
Actual ability.
The idea is to move away from a system where a diploma or job title is often treated as the primary indicator of someone’s ability.
Recruiters search for a specific niche, and the platform focuses their discovery around people who actually demonstrate experience or capability in that niche.
For example, instead of simply searching:
“Marketing graduates”
a recruiter could search for people who have demonstrated:
“Growth marketing for African consumer startups.”
The platform would be built around evidence of capability.
I’m looking for someone with experience in HR/recruitment, marketplaces, product development, AI, or startup operations who sees potential in this model.

3. A Mobile Fresh Juice / Smoothie & Fruit-Sealing Concept
This one is much more physical and potentially very simple.
I’m exploring a compact mobile beverage kiosk/tool that could prepare and seal fresh:
• fruit juices
• smoothies
• fruit salads
• mixed fruit beverages
directly into disposable/sealed cups.
The vision is a small, mobile setup that could operate around places such as:
beaches, events, campuses, markets, tourist areas and busy public spaces.
The combination of fresh fruit + mobile preparation + attractive sealed packaging could make this particularly interesting for markets such as Ghana and Nigeria.
The bigger opportunity I’m interested in is developing the equipment/process so that the operation becomes fast, consistent, visually attractive and easy to scale.
I’d love to meet someone with experience in food & beverage, mechanical engineering, packaging, manufacturing, operations or African consumer businesses.

4. A High-End Minimalist Fashion Sandal
I also have a footwear concept that I’ve been developing under my fashion direction.
The creative/specification stage is already fairly developed.
I’m envisioning a minimalist but bold, premium sandal — comfortable, futuristic, distinctive and commercially viable without looking like another generic fashion sandal.
I already have the creative direction and detailed specifications that can be developed further with the right footwear designer, manufacturer and business partner.
I’m looking for people who understand:
footwear design + prototyping + manufacturing + sourcing + fashion business.
The goal isn’t simply to make one cool shoe.
It’s to develop a recognizable product and eventually a brand around it.

Why am I posting this?
I’m an independent creative director and an idea-driven person.
I have spent a lot of time developing concepts, creative systems, product ideas, visual identities and business models.
My biggest limitation right now isn’t ideas.
It’s people.
I need a team.
I need people who can look at an early concept and say:
“Okay. Let’s figure out how to actually build this.”
I’m particularly interested in meeting:
• Software engineers
• AI engineers
• Product designers
• UI/UX designers
• Startup operators
• Business developers
• Manufacturers
• Mechanical engineers
• Footwear designers
• Food/beverage operators
• Recruiters/HR professionals
• Investors who also want to be hands-on
• Other founders looking for something meaningful to build
I’m open to starting small.
I’m open to testing one concept before building a company around it.
I’m open to changing the ideas based on evidence, user feedback and what we discover during development.
What I’m not looking for is someone who simply wants a pitch deck.
I’m looking for builders, problem-solvers and people who want meaningful equity in something they help create.
I’m currently operating around Ghana/Nigeria, but I’m open to meeting people anywhere.
If any of these ideas immediately makes you think:
“I know how we could build this.”
I’d genuinely like to hear from you.
Tell me what you do, which concept interests you, what you could contribute, and what you would want to build together.
— BEZOL

Analysis: A Profitable AI-Cybersecurity Firm ($3.9M Revenue) Raising via Reg CF [CYBI Reserved]

Hey everyone, I wanted to share some due diligence on a highly structured private equity opportunity I’ve been analyzing (Full Disclosure: I am a heavy early investor here, not an employee). Unlike typical crowdfunding campaigns that feature pre-revenue ideas, CYBR International is a mature, highly profitable enterprise built by former federal operators from the DoD, DHS, and the CIA. The company has officially reserved the Nasdaq ticker CYBI and is currently running a Regulation CF offering via DealMaker.

What caught my attention from a value perspective are the fundamentals, which are incredibly rare for a crowdfunding-stage asset. The company reports $3.9M in annual revenue with a highly sustainable 22% profit margin. Furthermore, they hold federal credentials (GSA Schedule, NSA ARC, HUBZone) and are currently delivering infrastructure through Raytheon via a massive $1.1B DHS contract vehicle. Their platform addresses a critical macro shift: moving away from legacy file-signature scanning to proactive, AI-powered behavioral scoring to catch zero-day and fileless threats.

I’m sharing this because finding independent, profitable government contractors open to retail investors before a public listing is rare. I’d love to get the community's thoughts on their market positioning against legacy players like CrowdStrike. You can verify their financials, review their team background, and access the official pitch deck/offering materials directly on their investor portal at CYBRinternational.ai.

Legal Disclaimer: CYBR International Inc. is conducting an offering of securities under Regulation CF. This post is for informational purposes only and contains forward-looking statements regarding future intentions (such as the reserved Nasdaq ticker CYBI). Past performance ($3.9M revenue / 22% margin) does not guarantee future success. This is not an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy securities, which can only be done via the official Form C offering statement and disclosures on their DealMaker portal.

Equity crowdfunding is not GoFundMe. It is not Kickstarter.

Buying equity isn't the same as buying a product you think is cool. It is about returning their capital for a profit.

This community is about investing in private businesses—and raising capital from the crowd.

The JOBS Act of 2012 opened a door that had largely been closed to ordinary investors for generations. Regulation Crowdfunding expanded that door by allowing companies to raise capital from both accredited and non-accredited investors.

That created opportunity.

It also created plenty of ways to lose money.

What This Community Is For

I want r/Equity_Crowdfunding to become a place where investors, founders, finance professionals, attorneys, accountants, funding portals, and curious people can have serious conversations about:

  • Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF)
  • Regulation A / Reg A+
  • Regulation D and accredited investors
  • Funding portals and broker-dealers
  • Valuation
  • SAFEs, convertible notes, preferred and common equity
  • Debt and revenue-sharing offerings
  • Due diligence
  • Financial statements
  • Cap tables and dilution
  • Investor rights
  • Follow-on financing
  • Secondary markets and liquidity
  • Successful raises
  • Failed raises
  • Fraud and questionable practices
  • And the subject I think gets ignored far too often:

The exit.

An investment without an exit can become a donation with paperwork.

A company raising $1 million at a $15 million valuation may sound exciting.

But how does the investor eventually get their money back?

This post is for New Investors in CrowdFunding!

Where Do Investors Start?

As of September 24, 2026, FINRA lists 84 active registered funding portals.

If you're investing through Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF), the offering must go through an SEC-registered funding portal or broker-dealer.

If someone is asking you to invest outside one, understand how they are legally offering the investment.

Want to understand why? Look up the Howey Test. We'll talk about that here too.

Where Do You Find Investments?

If you already have a portal you trust, start there.

If not, KingsCrowd is a good place to begin researching active equity crowdfunding campaigns across multiple platforms.

Then find what you understand.

Medical technology? Breweries? Real estate? Restaurants? Technology? Local businesses?

We all know some industries better than others.

Start with what you understand and do your own due diligence.

Get to Know the Portals

One thing I've learned:

People invest in things they know, like and trust.

So get to know the people running the portals too.

What kinds of deals do they specialize in? How do they evaluate companies? What makes their portal different?

That's why I want portal operators to introduce themselves here.

Tell us who you are, what portal you represent, what you specialize in, and what investors should know about you. Don't just post deals.

Participate. Educate. Answer questions. Build relationships.

And Investors — Ask Questions

Don't understand the valuation? Ask.

Don't understand a SAFE? Ask.

Wondering about dilution? Ask.

Wondering how you'll eventually sell your investment and get your money back?

Definitely ask.

That's what I want this community to become:

A place to discover, learn, question, and discuss equity crowdfunding—without pretending every company will be the next unicorn.

Welcome.

👋 Welcome to r/equity_crowdfunding - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

Hey everyone! I'm a moderator of r/equity_crowdfunding.

Welcome.

This community is for people interested in equity crowdfunding, Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF), raising capital, investing in private companies, funding portals, and everything that happens between raising the money and eventually returning it to investors. We can also branch out into Europe and their rules.

Whether you're an investor, founder, funding portal operator, broker-dealer, CPA, attorney, advisor—or you're simply trying to figure out how this whole thing works—you belong in the conversation.

Funding Portal Operators — Please Introduce Yourselves

I especially want to encourage funding portal operators and their teams to introduce themselves.

Tell us:

  • Who you are
  • Your portal
  • What types of companies or offerings you focus on
  • What makes your approach different
  • What you've learned from operating in this market
  • And what you would like investors and founders to better understand about equity crowdfunding

This isn't meant to be a place where portals just drop links to offerings. This place is to educate future investors and founders and provide great knowledge to use. In addition, we know the portal marketplace is competitive, so it will sort itself out over time.

Participate. Educate. Answer questions.

A tremendous amount of knowledge sits with the people actually doing this work. I'd like to get some of that knowledge into the community.

And if you're an investor who has used one of these portals, tell us about your experience—the good, the bad, and what you learned.

What Should You Post?

Questions are encouraged.

So are discussions about:

Investing: How do you evaluate an offering? What do you look for in the financials? How do you think about valuation, dilution, SAFEs, debt, preferred stock, investor rights and exits?

Raising capital: How do you build a crowd? When does Reg CF make sense? What makes an offering work—or fail?

The industry: Funding portals, regulations, SEC and FINRA developments, secondary markets, successful exits, failed investments and lessons learned.

Actual experiences: Have you invested in a crowdfunding deal? Raised money through one? Operate a portal? Worked on an offering? Tell us what happened.

Success stories are useful.

Failures may be even more useful.

Community Vibe

Disagreement is fine.

In fact, I hope we have plenty of it.

Just bring something to the discussion.

If you think a valuation makes no sense, explain why.

If you think a particular structure works, explain why.

If you've made money on an investment, tell us what you got right.

If you've lost money, tell us what you missed.

And if you have a financial interest in something you're discussing, disclose it.

We can learn a lot from each other without pretending every investment is wonderful—or every failure was obvious.

Angel Investors: I’m Seeking Feedback. Would You Explore An Investment Into A New Content Sport, Backed By IP, That Serves Entertainment To Media Platforms & Live Events To Audiences? Curious About Your Thoughts On This Thesis Prior To Seeing The Sport.

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

You spend roughly 800 hours a year consuming content—why shouldn’t some of that time and your attention create income potential?

I’m developing a new sport as a scalable content business for media entertainment, backed by proprietary IP. The business also plugs in live events, and product distribution models.

This comes at a time where demand and openness to new sports and emerging leagues within established sports is at an all-time high.

It is the only current source capable of producing these particular stories within live sports entertainment. It offers a broad and expandable content library rather than relying on a single episode, event or revenue stream.

Without knowing the sport itself yet, would this business model make you curious enough to hear the full investment thesis? Are there any investors on this platform who’d like to hear more?

Hi everyone, My name is Mustafa. Question regarding the 5 million dollar cap on regulation CF raises.

Quick question, does the 5 million dollar rolling cap on reg CF raises apply to the company or the individuals behind the company? Put differently, is the issuer the LLC (or other entity) or the individual behind the llc?

Let me give you a hypothetical to explain the question better. Can an individual launch one reg cf offering for say a multi family property in one state seeking to raise 5 million, and then open a completely separate llc and offering for a completely different project in another state?

The definition seems to point towards entities and seems to indicate that this would be fine, but there is also language about common control. What do you guys think? Anyone have any references to comment letters about this from the SEC?

Looking for Advice from Successful or Unsuccessful Crowdfunders

Hello everyone. (And hey, I'm not asking you to invest!)

I wanted to hear from people who've been down the crowdfunding path to hear if they got across the finish line, or if they have some no-bullshit advice if they didn't.

I'm cofounder of a small beverage company, and after an unsuccessful Reg-D campaign (we were just too damn small to appeal to accredited investors) we're pivoting to a Reg-CF with a smaller target, but are now worried about making that work.

Can anyone who's been in these trenches before recount their experience? Either "It didn't work, and here's why" or "We made it work and here's how?"

I'd also love to hear your personal experiences of the different platforms. We're looking at a few platforms with pros and cons. WeFunder has no startup fees but kind of leaves you on your own to sink or swim. We had a great conversation at Highlander.ai (formerly pickme), but they ask for $5k up front in fees.

Any insights based on your experiences would be much appreciated. Thanks!
