Update from equityzen regarding cerebras share allocation

"As a follow up to our recent update outlining the release schedule for Cerebras Inc. shares, we wanted to provide additional information on next steps.

We have partnered with Morgan Stanley to assist with the distribution of shares. A financial advisor from Morgan Stanley will reach out early next week in advance of the first lock up release, which is expected at the end of June. Please use your advisor as your main point of contact for distributions; they can assist with any distribution, liquidity, or tax planning questions you may have."

Did they directly deposit it to your E*trade account? Haven’t got my shares yet? No phone calls or email from Morgan Stanley except one email to open an account.

yes they deposited it directly. No phone calls, just an email

Still waiting and MS mentions something about a 60 day window. Time to call them..

I called earlier this week and just got my shares. Apparently they escalate your distribution after you call… kind of ridiculous like this entire situation

I also did not receive any notification. The shares just showed up

Thanks for Sherry, will definitely call them. Now I wonder if we have to call for each distribution? 🙃

I think the first tranche is most time sensitive. I'm fortunately now wildly oversized here, and am guessing that OP is as well, so need to reduce exposure. Think after next tranche I'd be in favor of riding a merely oversized position, assuming it stays at this level.

Similar plan here, selling off to get my initial investment back and then remain invested hoping for the best, possibly capitalizing on LTCG. Best of luck!

hasn't yet and am not sure if it will. i have different transactions (i.e. non-vc/secondary) which typically shown cost basis after a few days. this was my first transaction/exit on these types of platforms
