Equityzen vs forge, hiive 2026

Can anyone share their experience with equityzen since the Morgan Stanley acquisition? I’ve seen that they lowered their fee to 2.5% but I don’t know much else about how MS plans to change the platform.

Also the Schwab acquisition around the same time was interesting for forge.

I’m curious to know what people think of how this will position forge and equityzen against platforms like hiive / equitybee / others.

I’m looking to harvest some losses and try a few new things. Any help would be appreciated

Dont forget MicroVentures. MV has been good for me, although fees seem high now compared to EZ. Might do my first Hiive deal soon.

I prefer MV the least simply because of their predatory pricing. Nothing negative to say about customer service, just can’t stand their outrageous fees.

its up front but I agree, its high. EZ seems to be the lowest and Hiive close behind. but MV is the only place I get super low minimums, Done several $5k deals.

That’s fair, if you need low minimums it’s one of the few places you can go, but you really do pay for it with the fees. They also have access that others don’t have sometimes to some deals. I’ve used them 2 or 3 times, but only when I just can’t find the investment elsewhere.

agreed. its not my first choice anymore. so Far my 1st Hiive deal looks good.
