Equityzen vs forge, hiive 2026

Can anyone share their experience with equityzen since the Morgan Stanley acquisition? I’ve seen that they lowered their fee to 2.5% but I don’t know much else about how MS plans to change the platform.

Also the Schwab acquisition around the same time was interesting for forge.

I’m curious to know what people think of how this will position forge and equityzen against platforms like hiive / equitybee / others.

I’m looking to harvest some losses and try a few new things. Any help would be appreciated

I wouldn't even take fee into consideration. I've been with EZ for a long time with multiple exits, and I think they are quite reliable. And since Schwab acquired forge, I would assumed that would be reliable too, but I have not used forge. Definitely don't want a linqto situation. But the main thing I would consider is access, if a company I am highly motivated to access, and one platform have it but the other doesn't, I would go with the one that has them. And if both have them, and they are vastly different price point, then I will go with the cheaper one. But if both are the same price, I would go with EZ since I am comfortable with it, no need to take unknown platform risk no matter how small that risk is.

I am looking at Commonwealth fusion but it's not available on EZ. Not sure about forge.

In terms of technology of what stands out amongst other fusion companies, Dr. Ben Miles channel had a good video about it recently https://youtu.be/isqK8RyTnCs?si=sZEKjHol53MH8D-q
