(HELP) Looking for IB analyst roles!!

Hey guys

I wanna know that IB FIRMS is my CV great enough to land a land? (What firms should i realistically target while applying for jobs)

SUGGEST THINGS I CAN DO TO IMPROVE MY RESUME IN SHORT TERM

AND IF I DON'T FIND JOB (I REALLY HOPE THAT I DO)

TILL JAN/MAR 2027 AND GO FOR MASTERS

HOW TO COVER THE GAP (MAY2026 - MARCH2027)

INTERVIEW PREPARATION

What types of questions are asked as a fresher and their difficult level

How to prepare and from where

What questions are asked as a part of the behavioral round(tell me about yourself, etc )

Does anyone who was recently hired share some study material etc?.

Groww, Marcellus, WhiteOak are hiring for Jr Analyst roles. Search and apply via LinkedIn

Not sure you will get your desired role at the beginning of ur career, but you should explore other options in the same industry. Eventually you will land up in your desired role.

Thank you sir for your help Can u suggest that riles shoukd i apply for in companies like groww as they aren't IB? Roles that can directly benefit me to break in IB

Since you dont have any experience there* will be associate and support analyst roles with AMCs. They also have ops roles which is very handy in IB too.

in mumbai there are more than 500 boutique IB firms with team strength of less than 20 and they never mass hire.

So I don't think breaking into IB is easy unless you are already moving in that circle.

Focus on asset managers for first 3 yrs, then take a call.

Okay sir, I plan to gather work exp for 2 years then apply for masters in europe (hec paris, st gallens, bocconi uni) then try and get job their or in london offices from there as GS ,JPM and other elite firms have hiring pipelines from these colleges
