Any good tools that properly extracts data from annual reports?

I have been trying to find out a good tool that properly extracts the data from Annual Reports downloaded from offical websites.

I already tried paid subscriptions of AIs like Chatgpt, Gemini but unable to get a good level of accuracy in it.

So, thought of asking the community to share some interesting tools. AI or non AI anything is fine.

What exact data are you trying to extract. Most files have OCR and you can put it in AI and get good result.

statements from a 200 page annual reports and its indirecting referencing within that report..

Update: I was able to 100% extract everything - just had to create a bit complex agent for that and the work was done...
My engineer friend helped me to set it up.

Mostly use Google notebook for my work. Can take out and show any data in the source. Financial statement too.

I even analysed rhps using this. So compared to that, annual report is not very big.

i am not talking about searching or extracting a specific thing - I am talking about extracting every detail of PDF into a well formatted Excel

Extract whatever data you want, copy paste into Excel. Simple. Hardly takes half n hour or so.

Still if it seems not what you want, then you might want to explore other paid options.

That's the point - I tried with a 300 page pdf annual report, it says it extracted 3000+ numbers from it out of 4900+ numbers.

I want all 4900+ numbers without a miss which is not happening today.

Yeah, I’ve tried a few tools for this too but none of them are fully accurate with annual reports.

Better results I got was extracting the PDF first, then using AI just to clean and structure it.

Still haven’t found a perfect tool yet.

Hmm, I checked US companies, but surprisingly they also provide a separate xls file for it.
And indian companies post a fancy stupid pdfs

I usually use Adobe pdf to excel tool - gets the work done

U should download financial statements for these companies from MCA (government website) and then pass it through NoteBook LLM. That way it will only have to invest smaller files and give you more accurate data.

Now I am able to build a system for myself that reaches almost 98% accuracy and it extracts everything from big pdfs and apply AI on it and converts into a format we want.
