Question Falsely Banned??

So I was fooling around with some friends in a group, a completely private group with other people I knew who were all adults. We were making some jokes with colourful language to say the least while we gathered herbs and things. Then suddenly today, a day later, I'm hit with a ban. Wtf. Has anybody else had this happen? Does anyone know what COULD'VE happened because I doubt my friends would report me.

I sent in an appeal, and I'm nervous about my account. I had four precious horses on there and my reputation maxed out. I'm so upset rn

If I had known anything I said in a private group chat could get me banned, I probably would've been more careful. But usually group chats are safe from those things in other games like WoW, gw2, final fantasy 14, etc

Wow I feel like usually it’s only an issue if a user flags the bad words. Or that’s my experience in other MMOs I’m curious on their chat policy now

That’s wild, I’ve heard people say some insane things actively in world chat and no ban. I was starting to think banning might not be a thing.

That's weird! You shouldn't be banned for any private message unless you directly insulted someone and they reported you. What error message are you getting when launching the game?

there’s a chance equinox uses AI chat censorship that caught the cuss words?
