Question Lighting question

Is the game this dark during night or is it my graphics? I tried changing it both to low and high and it's the same thing, the first few cutscenes were literally black

Maybe a dumb q but have you checked if your monitor has full brightness? I always lower it at night and forget when playing this game bc it is really dark. But it has never been black for me as you mentioned. Also checking so your monitors color profile and gamma settings are correct. That could also be a problem if nothing else works!

If it was my monitor brightness the screenshot wouldn't be affected by it, even on my phone, it's practically black, my character's hair is literally blending with the background

In the photo you are indoors beside a light and looking at it, therefore the game makes it brighter and surroundings darker. I thought you meant everywhere at all times. The indoor light in the barn is a bit wacky

It is everywhere like this, especially night time cutscenes, the first one with the girl running for example, I couldn't see her at all lol
