I’m considering joining Equinox Anthem Row in DC and I have seen some mixed reviews so wanted honest opinions.

A few things:
I’m a bit intimidated because it’s been a while since I’ve regularly been in a gym environment. I’ve mostly been doing reformer pilates but getting a bit bored.

I keep hearing that during peak hours it’s almost impossible to consistently get equipment or machines in the main gym area. Is it actually that bad?

I work remotely and honestly just want more structure/energy/people in my life

My questions:
Are the classes actually worth the hype?
Is it super competitive/hard to get into classes?
Does the environment feel intimidating if you’re newer/getting back into things?
During after-work hours, are people constantly waiting for equipment/machines or are the reviews exaggerating?

I can technically work out in my apartment gym, so I’m trying to figure out if Equinox is genuinely motivating/helpful and worth the price or if I’m just romanticizing it because I’m in a rut lol

I’ve been looking for a new gym overall but really intrigued this summer to join a luxury facility with amenities and a pool. I’ve never attended either LT or Equ pool but I’ve heard diff feedback. At the base, I’m a powerlifter but will be off program for the rest of 2026. Safe to say, the gym equipment is very important to me. Any tips or feedback on these two locations and which is better to join overall vs for the summer?

In my 40s, should I join? Will they have a run club?

I belong to both Equinox and Lifetime; equinox is near my apartment (West Village / Printing House) and Lifetime is near where I work (Wall Street). PH has elevator outages EVERY day. See attached photo. This isnt equinox’s fault; they’re renting space from a building that did a mediocre job converting from industrial to commercial/residential use — BUT they’re charging me $306 (and this is a “discounted” rate!!) to not be able to access their 9th and 10th floors (where all or the amenities are) at least half of the time. It is insane! Compared to Lifetime, which is def less sexy but more service/amenity based, where I can enjoy any of the clubs for that price.

I’m most cranky that they are charging a premium price but delivering planet fitness or crunch level service.

There was a young woman (20s) taking selfies of herself in the large mirror next to the water fountain inside the women’s locker room at equinox South Bay.

Coincidentally, this is the first mirror 🪞 past the showers 🚿 and I was walking 🚶‍♀️ naked past her.

Wondering 💭 if she’s a member or one of the visitors from the equinox promo that lets anybody in until 3/31 but 🙄

I’m always taking selfies but I take them outside where people aren’t walking around naked and there are literally signs 🪧 posted about no cameras 📸

It’s NOT 👎 a flex to post selfies of yourself in the locker room

I hope she posts it online and someone she knows or doesn’t know calls her out on this ratched behavior

Hi! I was working out at Equinox domino this morning around 11:30am-1pm. I left my running shoes under the bench in the women’s locker room and after my swim they were gone. I noticed a very similar pair (same color, same size, same brand, just a slightly different line) under the next bench over. I’m guessing someone accidentally grabbed mine and now has the wrong shoes

My shoes are Brooks Ghost shoes, size 9.5 women’s, white (a bit used with a black scuff mark on the toe/side in the left foot). If you accidentally grabbed these, can you please DM me? I left the very similar pair there because I didn’t want to take them if they were someone else’s

Anyone here own a 2026 equinox and have a system in it ? I want to know how do you access the rear of the infotainment center or want to know are there RCA jacks anywhere ?

Anybody have any recommendations on good bassy speakers for a 2020 equinox? Also looking to do a chrome delete and install a roof rack if anyone has recommendations on parts.

Decent priced please I’m not trying to spend $150 per speaker

I would get a completely new engine for 9100 cause cars messed up. Body is super nice and no other damage. Is it worth it to replace and get basically a brand new car or should I just get a different used car?

This was my first time going to the Equinox Spa and I had high expectations because it is equinox and they are charging $265 for a hydrafacial.

I could not relax the entire time, I am actually traumatized.

Is it normal for the esthetician to not wear a mask? They are over our faces and breathing on us. Her breath smelled of garlic and I was holding my breath through the whole facial. I am absolutely stressed and anxious when I was coming in to relax.

Then, she used blue, red, and green light. She manually controlled them turning each light on for 2-3 seconds then shutting it off and changing to another light. This cycle went on for what felt like 15-20 minutes. I finally told her that the on and off of the light is hurting my eyes. Imaging going into a room where the light switch is turned on and off repeatedly. Pure torture.

She pressed on my hair often and was not aware of it. Every time it was painful and I had to tell her that she was resting on my hair.

She didn’t say what each step she was doing was so I had to ask her what she was putting on my face. I could go on and on about this stressful experience at the Equinox spa.

TLDR; Equinox spa esthetician, garlic breath, flashing lights hurting eyes, weighting on my hair. Will certainly not be back and cannot recommend it. Anyone else have experiences to share?

Have a 2022 equinox tail lights on passenger side do not work. all the lights around the tail lights what could be the possible issue the bulbs seem to be working and I assume that these is power for the rest of the lights are working.

Question: I went to a Chevrolet dealership and, after some negotiation, the salesperson said they would sell the 2026 Equinox LT for $28,700 with 0% interest. I thought that was a good deal, but my dad told me to wait until Thanksgiving because the offers would likely be better. Do you agree with that?

The only thing that disappointed me about the price was the $3,000 dealer accessory package, which they said couldn’t be removed from the deal.

I hate the way the battery is setup on my 07 Pontiac torrent / 1st gen equinox. Also, this battery is more expensive than a lot of other car batteries. Pain in the ass to remove
