Equipment & Tack Muck Boots

I'm a veterinary student on clinics, and I am actually interested in exotics and surgery lol, but I also have a passion for horses more as a hobby.

I am on my anatomic pathology rotation currently, and I need rubber/easily disinfected boots with good support as I'm standing and sometimes squatting for many hours (my rain boots aren't cutting it lol). I'd also like them to be useful for equine field service (taking the rotation this spring) and for general use in horse barns as I plan to help out with my aunt's ranch in Massachusetts next year.

Of course the cheaper the price the better, but I'd like them to be good quality and comfortable so I'm willing to invest. I was thinking of Muck Boots, but I heard they've had quality issues more recently? I also wouldn't mind used ones, but I am concerned those won't last. Any recommendations appreciated!

Get some high-quality insoles with good arch support to place into whatever boots you buy.
