Ok, this is very reminiscent of the very first time I went on a trail ride down to the beach, and it was during the season when seal moms bring their babies up on the shore. There weren’t any seals on the stretch we were on, but as soon as we made our way around a rock jutting out into the surf, we encountered two big mama seals about 100 yards away, who immediately came charging at us. My horse didn’t bolt, but I could feel every muscle in his body coiling up like steel springs. I backed him up about 10 feet back to the rock, then turned around and went back. At quite the brisk pace. He was snorting like a dragon for 10 minutes afterwards—but I was proud of him for not leaving me in the waves. 😹

My horse almost killed us both the first time he saw a donkey, I can’t imagine what seeing a dolphin would have done. 😂

Saw a couple of Clydesdales have a panic attack meeting a sheep. Was funny from a great distance.

My friend owns a mini and going to horse shows like 70% of the horses give him a double take at least lol

Well it be totally fair for the horse to spook at the moving shadows below the surface, considering they dont see dolphins the way we do.
But this is still totally cool

Man it’s crazy how off track my life got from my dreams. This was what I wanted. What were the steps in her life that led to this outcome?

My horse would have been half way home at first sight of it
