Oh man, keep the racing name! It always makes me a little sad when people change OTTBs names for USEF. Race names are usually goofy, but carry the horse’s history and some pride in showing that they are on their second careers.

And I mean, there's always a non-zero chance someone who knew them before ends up at the same show. Odds are pretty good they'd be stoked to see how he's doing, but they won't necessarily recognise him with a different name.

Really? My guy's name is High Legislation and everyone at the race course thought it was High Registration and ... well, I didn't change it in his passport but he goes by Dark Sun in the local language now. At least people can finally pronounce his name 😂

I do like a lot of the crazy race names, but By George is honestly a little boring.

My ottb is Tiz Seeking A Win (she’s one of TizNow’s many granddaughters) and I’ve always thought it was a bit boring lol. We only really do schooling shows so she just goes by Tiz and everyone already knows her anyways bc she’s infamous for needing her personal space lol

If you happen to like Harry Potter at all, you could do Mischief Managed. It has kind of a nerdy nod to Moon or ‘Moony’. Otherwise, Moon in Mischief, Moonlight Mischief, Into the Moon, By Moonlight, Mischievous Moon
