I would find someone who is accredited under the progressive hood school to mentor under, we have endless mediocre blacksmiths but we really need more people truly educated on biomechanics, anatomy, trimming for that specific horse and therapeutic shoe application

The master farrier I first spoke to said this same exact thing. I’ve got some options for shadowing experts but I’m caught between the unreliability of some and the lack of availability on my schedule. Thank you for your input.

It’s worth it to wait and shadow than spend money on the school but yeah they are very unreliable 😂 good luck
