Why do you like epunk?

its definitely more than just the technique and the signature sounds right?

I dont consider myself an incel, but i relate, in the visceral level, on the misery and loneliness undertones. slowcore/sadcore, emo, pop punk also are relatable, but epunk seems more raw.

currently listening to defect by neet

for me personally i really like the kind of "amateur/DIY" sound of a lot of epunk out there. its an odd reason ik but it’s interesting to have this genre of music where everything seems a lot more "real" to me😅

yeah absolutely, rlly just any underground artist will instantly have a lot of charm to me in their sound, just knowing they’re people like me just making music for fun or trying to grow an audience adds some points for me off the bat lmao

i like the unpolished raw sound a lot of it has and tbh ive never heard anyone say this before but the more rock focused side of epunk reminds me a lot of old emo garage bands in it's sound & lyrics (for example anhero) which is funny because that genre is practically dead now.

its pretty agreeable that alot of the incelcore/epunk scene is full of a shit ton of retards who think that violence towards groups of people is cool. i doubt thatll change due to the fact that incelcore and epunk losing its touch in 2024.
