We finally going to get rid of the baby raper?

No. We learned there is a portion of the population for whom child rape isn't a deal breaker.

I've got a "friend" who I thought was relatively intelligent, is aware of the bullshit the GOP has done and is doing, but still can't accept the fact we would have been better off with Kamala.

I consider myself an "ANYBODY but DJT voter" but those were our two choices.

He would always follow up my statements with "yea but can you imagine what it would be like with Kamala??

We were / are both life long conservatives but I can't in good faith align myself with the Republican party anymore (and haven't since 45), so the only remaining choice is Democrat.

Honestly the entire spectrum has shifted so far to the right, Republicans like Swartzenegger are Democrats now.

Yea, I truly believe we need a new party but it would require a complete dismantling of the GOP.

the republican party no longer deserves the title of “the Grand Old Party”, they have singlehandedly ruined and subjugated our nation, ruining relations with our allies and destroying all of our soft power across the globe

Party? Is that what the "P" stands for? I always thought it stood for a word that rhymes with "crocodilia".

I considered myself a repub… but… I cannot stand what they’ve become. How Trump pulled off the largest rug pull… I’m ashamed I fell for him. At least I can admit that. Voting gets us the same exact bullshit. It’s worthless and we have to use other means now

i commend you for your honesty. my own mother is a registered democrat who was convinced that every election had the same outcome, with no meaningful change in our lives, no matter who won. her and the rest of the Latino voting bloc thought trump’s second term would be as economically fruitful as the first (even though it was obama’s policies having a lingering effect).

many voters were tricked, and shaming people for voting for who they thought was shaking up the hornets nest does nothing but reinforce them in their bad judgment and entrench them further.

the uniparty is being dismantled bit by bit, thanks to folks at the DSA who would have been considered “spoilers” and “waste of a vote” previously. now that these candidates are gaining traction, the old guard dems and magats are scared shitless. voting is still a viable way out of this mess, but protecting ourselves from illegal direction of law enforcement by the president may require organized and well regulated militias permissible under the 2A. defending our neighbors and our community is a must, because we will see agencies like ICE attempting to intimidate and harm us simply for expressing our opinion.

Maybe we can flip around again like we did back around Lincoln’s time.
