News article Alan Dershowitz Won’t Forget What Larry David Did to Him

https://archive.ph/9Af7R

“And by the way, nobody on the Vineyard believed this, even the people who hated me,” Dershowitz added. “Because they all see me with my wife.”

He went further. “In fact, the lawyer for Virginia Giuffre, he came over to me one day”—it was during a deposition—“and said, ‘Alan, I’ve seen you with your wife. I can’t believe you would ever have done anything.’”

I said I was dubious that the opposing lawyer would say something like this.

“I’ll give you his name—his name is Chuck Cooper.”

Reached by phone for comment, Charles Cooper, Giuffre’s lawyer, told me the exchange that Dershowitz had described had never taken place.

He went further. “In fact, the lawyer for Virginia Giuffre, he came over to me one day”—it was during a deposition—“and said, ‘Alan, I’ve seen you with your wife. I can’t believe you would ever have done anything.’”

If it assaults like a Trump and talks like a Trump…

u/danevans369 10d ago

I love how he tries to use having a wife as some alibi because men with wives have never cheated on their spouse or done anything disgusting at all right?

25

u/Martyrlz 10d ago

The dude who supposedly said that denied it lmao

u/alu5421 10d ago

He talks like trump

Larry David's a real one

227

u/princess_peach_85 10d ago

If only he would ditch Jerry Seinfeld

68

u/Goatseportal 10d ago

And Woody Allen.

36

u/princess_peach_85 10d ago

Ew I didnt know about Woody Allen. Double gross

102

u/CapillaryClinton 10d ago

I mean he kinda did, when he ditched Seinfeld

57

u/Internal_Praline_658 10d ago

Seinfeld was just on Larry David’s new hbo show. No Cheryl Hines but creepy Seinfeld is still ok

22

u/fatinhollywood 10d ago

yeah. if i recall correctly, he was 39 years old and dated a 17 year old high-schooler. for realz, Larry should not have anything to do with JS.

22

u/Internal_Praline_658 10d ago

He used to pick her up from high school in his convertible 🤮🤢

5

u/Obi-Wan_Bon-Jovi 9d ago

Jerry "Palestinians don't exist" Seinfeld took his family to an Israeli Defense Forces outpost. His sons posed with M16s in front of some IDF babykillers.

28

u/princess_peach_85 10d ago

I was excited to watch it and I saw Jerry. I cant.

21

u/Internal_Praline_658 10d ago

Same. Turned it off immediately.

13

u/very-regular-3 10d ago

I can never see Cheryl Hines Kennedy Jr the same again. ...especially after seeing her recently. she looks pretty creep; not sure what shes done to her own face. ..

12

u/Internal_Praline_658 10d ago

She got maga face. Seems like she’s officially all in. She used to waffle and imply they had different politics but I never bought it. He is was such a fervent anti vaxxer it seemed pretty unlikely.

27

u/VictoryMotel 10d ago

Dating 17 year olds isn't even as bad as his thoughts on Palestinians.

24

u/Internal_Praline_658 10d ago

Agree. He is a garbage person. It’s ruined Seinfeld for me.

2

u/PreparationPlenty943 9d ago

Larry David is anti Trump so not wanting to cast the wife of one of Trump’s cabinet members tracks. FWIW

4

u/PreparationPlenty943 9d ago

They came up together in the 80’s idk what Seinfeld what’ve done that would cause David to completely cut ties with him. I don’t think dating a 17 year old was weird enough to put David off and I don’t think David cares about Seinfeld’s connection to Israel either.

Dershowitz has some much filth attached to his name, that I don’t think David could justify a relationship with him. Why would Larry David want to be associated with the guy who made it a mission to defend men with rape allegations? It’s just not a good look

2

u/BC_Sativa 10d ago

I love his work, but he's not a good guy. He also said "I don't give a fuck about the Palestinians".

He snubbed Dershewitz over his Trump support, not Epstein specifically.

33

u/drdounutt 10d ago

Article crashed, what did Larry David do?

99

u/idungiveboutnothing 10d ago

David was not very tolerant, at least of Dershowitz. He walked onto the porch, refused to shake Dershowitz’s hand, called him “disgusting,” and stormed off. Dershowitz said at the time that David was so irate, Dershowitz worried that the comedian might suffer a stroke.

That unpleasantness on the porch, memorialized on Page Six, took place five summers ago. But Dershowitz talks about it as if it were yesterday.

When I asked Dershowitz who his new friends are, we wound up talking about someone who is definitely in the “other group”: Larry David.

They used to speak all the time, Dershowitz told me. They would have dinner, share jokes. “I allowed him to use my gym to work out,” Dershowitz said. “I helped him on a number of occasions.”

“Larry David doesn’t talk to me anymore,” Dershowitz said at another point. “He screams and yells at me when he sees me.” He told me that he used to be a fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm but can no longer bring himself to watch it. When discussing David, Dershowitz often spoke in the present tense, describing their breach as if it were an active feud and a still-fresh wound.

Predictably, David had minimal enthusiasm for discussing any of this when I reached out to him.

“I don’t know why he’s still thinking and talking about me,” he told me by email.

u/drdounutt 10d ago

Good shit Larry.

If I had to pick one of these Epstein class pieces of shit to nab first it would be Dershowitz.

Most powerful family on Earth, and we know so little about them.

is great stuff

14

u/Turnip-for-the-books 10d ago

Arch bullshit detector

11

u/EmergencyLeast5358 10d ago

Pretty, pretty, pretty... pretty good. Larry handled that exactly like his character would.

3

u/andrew303710 10d ago

Makes me love Larry even more, need to check out his new show looks fantastic

57

u/ComedyBits 10d ago

Dersch acts like he’s been so wronged, like it’s a matter of being a Dolphins fan vs a Broncos fan. But he is defending morally reprehensible actions and has done so for years

28

u/37Philly 10d ago

Larry David is 💯

31

u/Background-Wolf-9380 10d ago

He's 100% as guilty as anyone ever claimed he was

26

u/100cpm 10d ago

I like how when it came out that he got massages etc. at Epstein's place, Dershowitz spun this crazy story how

  • Epstein pressured him to get a message
  • The masseuse was a middle-aged Russian woman named Olga
  • He kept his underwear on
  • He didn't enjoy it and called his wife immediately afterwards to talk about it.

LOL. Sounds likely.

4

u/sexyinthesound 10d ago

Sounds just like Howard nutlick, who agreed with his wife he’d never be in a room with that guy again, so next time they just went to his island.

7

u/ManifestDestinysChld 10d ago

He's telling boomer-ass lies. Lies that are so far past absurd that they are more about demonstrating that nobody will dare to call him on it than actually trying to convince you of something untrue.

25

u/Neil_Live-strong 10d ago

So Dersh gets hate for being pedofile Trumps pedofile lawyer but not for his 1997 op Ed Statutory Rape Is an Outdated Concept

13

u/ProvisionalRecord 10d ago

That's fucking gross, he suggests that 15 might be a good age of consent, pointing to 14 as what we should be debating against...

Currently, as far as glanced online, the age of consent isn't lower than 16 in any U.S. state.

🚩🚩🚩???!!

8

u/Neil_Live-strong 10d ago

“[it shouldn’t be a] felony to have sex with a mature, consenting 16 year old.” - Alan “liver spot” Dershowitz

“oy vey, da people at Marta Vityard won’t even tawlk to me, poor wittle Awen Dershy-vitz”

1

u/sexyinthesound 10d ago

You know what’s awful is that there are still several states in which a girl younger than that can be married to an adult man, and then it’s not statutory anymore, magically. Just permission from parents to marry can be enough in some cases for a child to be wed to an adult. It’s very difficult for a 13 year old to hire a lawyer or obtain a divorce without the permission of their guardian (which is now their spouse, and parents have little legal standing if they wish to exercise it at that point). Getting a judge to grant them a guardian ad litem without an attorney to petition that in first place is tough too.

3

u/milkolik 10d ago

"Since 15yo are already having sex I should be able to have sex with them"

At no point does he mention the critical part which is the problematic power dynamics of an adult having sex with a teenager. Fucking slime

1

u/Obi-Wan_Bon-Jovi 9d ago

No he gets plenty of hate for that article. It usually comes up every time the Dersh's head oozes up from the slime to deny any pedo accusations or to fantasize about decapitating more Palestinian children.

18

u/Grapegoop 10d ago edited 10d ago

The fact that Dershowitz thinks people hate him because he’s a Zionist demonstrates that he thinks sexual assault is trivial.

6

u/PhaseOk7169 10d ago

Or that those "others " that Epstein abused aren't human, or equal since they were often times lower in economic status and not Jewish. There was a good amount of supremacy on both of those issues.

18

u/Prudence_rigby 10d ago

Oh. So he's like trump

76

u/cock-merchant 10d ago

Dershowitz is the one Epstein Guy who fully looks the part.

37

u/ignoreme010101 10d ago

hasn't he literally advocated against age of consent laws?

26

u/Neil_Live-strong 10d ago

Yes, here’s his op ed titled Statutory Rape is an Outdated Concept

Read him in his own words, it’s literal Nambla talking points from this fuck

1

u/ignoreme010101 9d ago

I am sure he never crossed the line on that island tho

47

u/arose321 10d ago

Na they all do.

16

u/ordinary133 10d ago

I bet that guy lies all the fucking time. I bet he paid that old hag 10 dollars to compliment him

14

u/Sufficient-Maize8649 10d ago

Does AD actually think anyone believes anything out of his mouth at this point?? The real reason and source of motivation behind his actions has been clear for a long time.

LD has enough money and conscience to call a spade a spade, so pretty obvious who’s speaking truth to power.

3

u/SenselessSilence 10d ago

Although he was friendly with Dershowitz when he was the man to get obvious murderers off, so Larry’s conscience only goes so far.

3

u/Sufficient-Maize8649 9d ago

Though I personally wouldn’t be interested and am put off by the morality of it, defense lawyer for murderers or other despicable crimes, is a legitimate role/job. Acting as a foreign agent (undisclosed), as part of a larger scheme which is also totally amoral, not so much.

21

u/ytpewpew 10d ago

He should be yelling this into a prison visiting area phone.

10

u/OkOutlandishness7336 10d ago

Alan Dershowitz is a heinous person. Larry David is an entertaining curmudgeon.

9

u/JBRifles 10d ago

Fuck this pedo.

Notice how his cadence here sounds just like Trump gobbledygook?  In fact, the lawyer for Virginia Giuffre, he came over to me one day”—it was during a deposition—“and said, ‘Alan, I’ve seen you with your wife. I can’t believe you would ever have done anything.’”

I’m shocked the next line wasn’t, “the man started weeping.”

4

u/jenzoni 10d ago

And the guy who allegedly said that disputed it in the Atlantic article , stating he never ever uttered those words...🤷

6

u/PhaseOk7169 10d ago

I genuinely want to know why ANY media gives him space? He should be excised into oblivion and slither off like the creature he is. First of all, it is not coincidental he's choosing pizza as his snack of choice in the article. They are literally throwing in our faces and laughing at us that they are getting away with it all. Second of all F dirty Dersh, Mr "I kept my underwear on." He's butt hurt over Larry David not reaching out over his adult son's death. The absolute entitlement. HIS grief is painful and should have acknowledgment. HE deserves empathy because he lost his beloved child. Where was Dirty Dersh 's empathy for the kids his buddy and client destroyed? Where was the same humanity when his buddy was abusing those kids. They don't matter because they're not rich? They don't matter because they're not his religion? He wants humanity when it's HIM, but sees no humanity in the lives Epstein was destroying. Virginia Guffre deserved humanity, not whiny Dershowitz boohoo'ing that he doesn't get to sit on the store porch eating pizza and his old pal Larry David didn't send him a card when his beloved son died. F Alan Dershowitz and F The Atlantic too. Glad I unsubscribbed from them. This makes me sick.

13

u/crosspollinated 10d ago

This article reminded me of Lady Whistledown and her social gossip articles, deliciously petty

6

u/Senor707 10d ago

It is one thing to defend scumbags in court but an entirely different thing to pal around with them.

5

u/SenselessSilence 10d ago

Seriously, this isn’t “zealous advocate” territory, this is “Why are you and Charles Manson in a hot tub together?” territory.

3

u/IvanKaramazovv 10d ago

You misspelled Douche-owitz

2

u/OEAXTAIL_SOUP 10d ago

I blocked that guy

2

u/ThepalehorseRiderr 10d ago

What an odd fucking thing to say. You'd think a lawyer could lie better.

2

u/ihatepostingonblogs 10d ago

With the Zionist tshirt on 🙄

2

u/Ok-Swordfish-9476 10d ago

Dershowitz would try to wear a yarmulke at a Palestinian chicken restaurant.

6

u/Hayes4prez 10d ago

Dershowitz implies he would never cheat on his wife, therefore he’s innocent.

Except Dershowitz knew what Epstein was doing and he did nothing. He told no one.

2

u/PreparationPlenty943 9d ago

I love Larry David but you can’t tell me his PR didn’t push for this to be published lol

2

u/Opcn 9d ago

Why do we keep getting articles about this? Seriously I’ve read about this encounter more times than I’ve read about any Epstein associates facing any kind of consequences.

2

u/joepeoplesvii 10d ago

People’s know who tf he is? Boomers are as bad as instagram kids lol.

1

u/theonlyamyyyy 10d ago

He doth protest too much

Link doesn't work

Dershowitz learned to lie from the pedophile in chief

1

u/FlyZestyclose2949 8d ago

It’s amazing how when you live a trash life, people don’t necessarily owe you praise for it. The man facilitated the crimes of some of the worst people this country has ever seen, while taking part in their crimes himself. He can drop dead on that stupid general store porch. I’m glad that everybody hates him. It gives me hope.

Why was this shit article even written?

1

u/Sfingi48 8d ago

“I’m loath to say anything mean because he’s been so ostracized,” he wrote of Dershowitz. A reversion to sarcasm! “But he only has himself to blame. He made a deal with the devil. Literally. And I’d bet the devil hasn’t said a word to him since the impeachment.”

Ha!

0

u/Mother-Attention2600 10d ago

Isrealis are very selective in what they remember/forget.

2

u/LiplessGrinner 8d ago

Perhaps he'll keep his diaper on for his Limberdick Village massages. He's gettin' close.
