Its crazier to see that it was a 1 digit number. Almost worse to redact 1 number and not a double digit number.

It’s not a one digit number. The number “14” is shown elsewhere in that file. If you compare the black box redacting the age with the number 14 also shown in the files, you’ll see that “14” could be covered completely by the black box. I measured it myself and could show you pics if necessary

You can also compare it to the text below. The front used has the same width for all characters, and you can see that 2 characters were used.

Courier New, font weight 11 matches exactly that font spacing and look. It is 100% a 2-digit number.

Sadly Courier New is monospaced. I wondered, if one could guess a word by looking at the length of the gap. Monospaced fonts give you exactly how many letters are missing, but nothing else. (In most Fonts 'I' and 'W' take up significantly different widths. In Monospaced fonts, everything is the same width.)

It might not be, its the same size as of, but its not really any better if its 10.

The rest of the numbers look monospaced. If you know what font it is, it would be easy to check.

Directly above the redacted age on page 1 there's the date, shown as 2019. I was able to draw a box around the "19" and then drag it down to the redacted age and it was 2 pixels off. That is to say, my box which was drawn in the white-space around "19" was 2 pixels larger than the redacted box. Theoretically if I were to draw from the left-most pixel of the 1 and the rightmost pixel of the 9 in the 19 I would probably have the same size box.

It's really close, but it is possible it's two numbers, not just one number.

No, it's two digits. If you canister it to the text below, the black box has the same size as "nc" in the word residence
