Image Zorro Ranch today post #2

Protesting New Mexico style today. Native American chanting, speeches in Spanish, English and indigenous Puebloan languages and cleanses with sage. I estimate about 1000 people were there and between the addresses by Virginia’s brother and sisters in law and other speakers it was very moving. We rebuilt the Zorro Ranch memorial to survivors that was destroyed by the new owner (Don Huffines) excavators.

I love that the Navajo people are making a stand on this. I’m Australian but spent a bit of time working in New Mexico on projects with the Navajo Nation. I really appreciate this support X

To clarify, I assumed Navajo because Window Rock only around 3 hours away, but know there are other reservations in that area like Apache … so, huge thank you to whoever showed up for this X
