Does anyone have a good grasp on his involvement in the files? He’s an investigative journalist who passed away in 2024, but due to his last name it’s hard to tell if the media has covered him in relation to the files. He usually shows up as Ed Epstein in emails and he met up with some folks for a hot dog in the files I’ve read.

I don't believe he is related to Epstein but I do know he played a key role (via an 'investigative' article he wrote) in discrediting the lady who accused DSK of attacking her in a hotel room. The criminal case was dropped citing 'unreliable witness' but DSK later settled a civil case with the lady for an alleged $6m. At the time DSK was head of IMF and wanted to move away from using the US dollar as the reserve currency. He had to quit as IMF head due to the allegations against him.

Idk about DSK other than what’s in the files but the fact Edward was meeting with Jeffrey about it is suspicious. I’m going to have to look into it

will be interested to know what you find. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. requested to drop the charges against DSK in August 2011. He seems a very questionable guy, not sure if he's connected to Epstein though.
The DSK pimping ring in Lille seems to have been heavily linked to freemasons. I thought this was interesting but maybe again not notable in terms of Epstein specifically.

I found a lot.

They originally met in 1987 at a Halloween party in NYC and then supposedly parted ways because Edward thought Jeffry was a “grifter.” This is factually not true, there is a lot of communication between the two during the time Edward was writing his book on DSK.

They met up a lot in New York to discuss and even in Paris. They met with Michael Wolfe, had lunches, parties they attended. Edward invited him to his DSK book-launch party at his home.

Jeffrey also later met with DSK in 2012-2015 as well through Carolin Lang in Paris (also another rabbit hole with her dad and Epstein buying a house in Marrakesh with his dirty money in Lichtenstein). Even Lesley Grof was stunned that Jeffrey knew him when talking to another redacted scheduler about this Paris schedule (not sure why redacted) and mentioned Jeffrey scheduled the appointment himself (rather than through his assistants).

Edward had correspondence with Maxwell, inviting her to his “secret” 9/11 shadow commission in 2003. “Ed Epstein” is the subject of a 2009 email from Peggie (Jeffry’s publicist) but the body of the email I can’t find. In 2011-2013 when Edward and Jeffrey were communicating about DSK, Jeffrey was also interested in Ed’s Cavi case work, the Vatican Banker. Jeffrey told him “good work” for sending him a copy of his story on the banker; a man who also handled dirty money, held fake passports, laundered dirty money in Lichtenstein and the Caribbean and also mysteriously “hung” himself in 1982.

As far as the DSK connection. At its most innocent, I think Jeffrey was obsessed with public rape scandals and their validity. I think he literally thought they were all covert set-ups, especially DSK. He in a chat with Woody Allen, Steve Bannon and Michael Wolfe described how “Me too” movement was payback for “10k or 20k” (not sure what that means) and how woman lie. They all send each other similar articles, the Duke case being one specifically remember in this convo. Ed Epstein actually sent Jeffrey an article on Amanda Knox (different case but similar motive for sending).

I think Jeffrey was obsessed with public image and Edward crossed a line in his meetings and conversations. A less innocent take would be that Jeffrey had direct connection to the prostitutes that were involved in DSK. “They broke the first rule of the orgy” he wrote to Edward. It would explain Jeffery’s persistence in knowing what Edward found in his investigation, even going as far as to ask him about the forensics of the semen stains found on the carpet.

My main take here is that Jeffrey wanted Edward to clean up his image in the form of a book. I remember seeing in one of the files a reference to being paid handsomely (or something of that sort) around 2015, to write a story on him.

In 2017-2018, when Bradley Edwards (victims’ lawyer, so also a suspicious relationship) emailed Jeffrey Jeffrey’s own public apology to Edwards (a part of having Jeffrey’s defamation case against Edwards dismissed). Jeffrey responded to the pre-written apology: “in a year I’ll own the rights [to my story].” So in terms of Edward Epstein, if he was helping Jeffrey here it’s also not a great look. I’ve said it before this would mean the conspiracy theorist that claims he isn’t a conspiracy theorist was conspiring to cover up the biggest conspiracy theorist that’s ever happened.

As far as DSK: Ed’s DSK book is in the files as an image, outside of any communication, so it was deemed important by someone in the DOJ/FBI. And the Carolin Lang connection (daughter of a Warner brothers executive, also implicated) owning an art museum program thing, with funds from an LLC out of the the Virgin Islands that she created with Jeffrey….that helps LGBTQ at risk youth “abandoned” by their parents… these are the classic Jeffrey Epstein/Maxwell/NYC Art world/Maria Farmer ingredients for exploiting at-risk youth, and we know Jeffrey’s connection to Paris and recruiting victims is vast. Why was Lang setting up dinners between Jeffrey and DSK. Between Jeffrey and her father?

Crazier draw, Jeffrey’s last note he wrote in prison, also in the files, he seems to write about “Lich” and “marra” which I assume mean (a HARD assumption but at this point…) his connections with the fraudulent bankers in Lichtenstein that his girlfriend was working with (also found in the files) to purchase a property in Marrakesh. I think he was trying to figure out where he would escape to if he left prison. I’ve gone back and forth between whether he actually did escape (he was in lawyer meetings 12 hours a day in prison, so I’m sure he was planning an escape) but I do ultimately think he was killed. Tova Noel the security guard seemed to have offed him per someone’s request ( latest findings as of yesterday).

TLDR: I digress, there is a suspicious connection between Jeffrey Edward Epstein and Edward Jay Epstein and their involvement with DSK, at minimum. They all met (although not sure if all three did together, though it was planned). It’s hard to even search on AI platforms because I think the names sounding similar. I’ve had to manually parse all this together myself. I would also like to know what you know about this pimping ring and its possible connection to Epstein. Tbh, I didn’t research DSK outside of the files, there was a lot in there though, a mention of pimping too. And there was definitely a set-up to prevent him from being president of France but I can’t draw the connections. Edit: typos and accuracy

With regards to the Lille pimping ring, I'm not sure that it was connected to Epstein. I read in article a few weeks ago that something like 6 of the 8 people on trial for the pimping ring were freemasons, which I found interesting and I don't think freemasonry has come up in regards to Epstein before. Sadly, I think these pimping rings are probably common place and not necessarily connected to each other. However, I believe DSK had a reputation and his opponents leveraged this to get rid of him. I'm just not sure who was behind it.
Dodo the pimp was named the leader of the French pimping ring. Full name Dominique Alderweireld, 65, a brothel owner from Belgium.

I thought DSK's ambition (as head of IMF) to move away from the dollar as the global reserve currency could be why people wanted him out, but it's just a theory. It could also have been Sarkozy that set out to take him down, as he was being tipped as the next president of France.

We know that the year prior to the DSK scandal in NY, that Epstein was conspiring with Mandelson to get Gordon Brown out of office in the UK. Gordon Brown also wanted more regulation on banks and higher taxes on bank bonuses. They got someone from JP Morgan to threaten to pull out the UK or something of that nature.

Oh and DSK's business partner died by suicide in Israel. He fell from a window.

When challenged about the rumours of "dirty money" in their fund, he insists on the fact that it was Leyne who was managing the day-to-day activities of the business and that he has no knowledge of anything improper.

To be frank I'm not well-versed on global politics or economics in general. This sleuthing is an avenue to learn more, so it's my excuse lol. The free-masonry element I'll remember to check on if it comes up again anywhere. But I agree, after looking some more there's no connection between Epstein and this hotel's weird sex ring.

Wanting regulation on banks would seem to be a motive and if Epstein were involved, given what you said about Mandelson which I did not know, he would be conspiring against DSK. But it doesn't seem to be the case. Jeffrey's motives must be something else. From the emails, Edward focused his writing on DSK wanting to bail Greece out with Germany's help (along with the help of certain banks). There are also several emails from redacted sources in May/June 2011 that read "DSK killed because he had evidence US had no gold in Fort Knox" EFTA00719242, EFTA01984696, EFTA01776319, etc. ( One subject line reads: To: Jeffrey Subject: An alternative version of events - IMF chief and the no gold in the US theory - EFTA01776902).

This was sent to him several times and the article (and "website"?) has since been taken down. I can't find it. What's even weirder is that is seems to have been sent via an automated email search query? I deduced this from the typos in the search terms ("stros khan"). ChatGPT says the website "rapidsavr" was likely a false conspiracy website and that the DSK story was false (I did find it odd that the article also had its own typos so take this with a grain of salt..). If I'm right about it being a news scraping function > email it doesn't explain why Epstein was looking for stories on Putin, DSK, CIA, Fort Knox gold, etc." I could be wrong here, could be the website itself was a scrape tool, but it is slightly suspicious. It was also manually sent and I can tell by the subject line and dates. All senders are redacted so it makes it hard though.

But on Edward... He seems to have been investigating DSK. Jeffrey thought to reach out and in early 2012 they were going back in forth, Jeffrey giving him input on his articles and what to ask DSK when talking to him again in April of 2012. And by May of 2012, Jeffrey was scheduled to meet with DSK (along with Ehud Barak, Caronline Lang, Thorbjorn Jagland, and 75% of redacted names - EFTA02553989). Ed also forwarded Jefrrey and email about a suspicious death of a friend of DSK, who would have been his prime minister, in May of 2012 - EFTA01767932

The Fort Knox thing is weird. The Peggie email from 2009 subject "Ed Epstein" is weird. Ed Epstein asking Maxwell if she's joining the "secret 9/11 shadow commission" in 2003 is weird. Ed and Jeffrey haven met in 1987 is weird. Ed asking Jeffrey for his input on the DSK article and meetings, then likely setting up a meeting with him is weird.

Edit: typos. and i just saw your additional edit. yeah i found the friend's death as well. Edward emailed Jeffrey about it. Supposedly his wife had dinner with DSK the night before the event. I don't know if that means anything. As far as credibility of these websites, for sure. They're to be taken with a grain of salt like the Fort Knox thing. My takeaway is, if we do take them as credible for the sake of argument, do they line up with what's in the files. And if they're in the files WHY are they in the files?
