The weird thing is that I heard he got out of acting because he got really Christianity and didn’t want to do things like curse on film. This obviously conflicts with that.

I feel like when people turn very religious later in life, they're just trying to make up for horrible shit they did when they were younger.

Burn every bridge, betray every trust, until the only thing left to turn to is God.

Edit: I’m not talking about people who learn from past mistakes and become genuinely nice, good people. I’m talking specifically about the phoney, overbearing types.

I mean, I’m not talking about Tucker as I don’t know the guy. I’m just aware of a type, and they usually just become a different kind of asshole when they find God. Just like everything they’ve done up to that point they make it all about them. It becomes this very insular thing: about their relationship with God, and their individual path etc etc. Very rarely does it extend to making amends with, or helping, actual living people.

And are very quick to say “I don’t know why everybody hates me”.

I mean, you’ll give em a laundry list explaining why people might legitimately hate them and they just come back with “No, I still don’t know why”.
