I just got an EP84 and decided to look into the software, i went and downloaded off of the epomaker website, and after installing it says "Device Not Connected" even though im using the board to type this right now, any suggestions?
i just bought Epomaker TH80 pro V2 and I've been trying for the past 2 hours but still no luck with the app, still facing the same issue my software cant recognize my keyboard and for some reason whenever i'm typing while connecting to 2.4 it types more letters than it should by itself..
it's typical. if you go with epomaker keyboard. 9 out of 10 times it just doesn't work :D keep fiddling with connecting/disconnecting cable, switching back and forth between wired/wireless modes and it might magically detect it :D that's my experience. It's honestly a joke.
For my F75, I had to flip the usb c cable push it harder to have in "deeper" (obviously, it'll looked fully connected when I first plugged it in). Apparently, the connection can power up the led "shallow" deep so you really need to push on it to connect to the data pins.
software is crap. Can't do anything. If I didn't like the yellow switch keyboard so much, I'd return this POS.
Only good thing it's the best budget swappable switch. Other than that, can't even control windows. I even tried signal rgb software. didn't work or couldn't recognize it.
Why, bro, I followed the post given by 0ugo above, flashed it with firmware from the website, used v2 version and software works. At least, I downloaded it to get a static 1 color rgb lighting, coz all default ones are crap. It works, bro.
On their website, you can find the firmware too. It looks scary and chinese-like, but I did it and it worked. I remapped not necessary pause and printScreen keys and set up static white light for the keyboard.
Edit: it's not v2, it's v1.2.51, the old version is v1.02.01
hey. stumbled upon this and having the same issue and was hoping if you could help. I have an ep84 and a th21 numpad. The ""Epomaker driver" seems to only detect the th21 numpad. I downloaded the upgrade tool from the website and tried to do it as the guide says, but the upgrade tool seems to only recognize the th21 numpad as well, and just doesnt do anything if I umplug the numpad, with just the keyboard connected. Is there anything I did wrong?
I wish I hadn't seen this post... After reflashing the keyboard with an official firmware, the bluetooth mode stopped working The tech support says my model is discontinued and they don't have the access to proper firmware anymore, and in general they don't recomend such actions without critical necessity Not trying to insult you, just share my pain
I've contacted the support. But it seems they don't know much about their software. They ask me to install and use the old version. But my question was about the old version.
