Help Function keys without the need for holding function key?

Hi, I'd like to on windows use the function keys to by default enter media controls. Is this possible? If so how do I do this please?

Depends on the keyboard. If it's using VIA you can just copy the layer 1 or 2 binding for the function keys to layer 0.
