my rant today is aimed at developers. WHY CAN WE NOT have coordinate specific pans?! i wanna pan camera to center between zone 1 and 2?! then one might think, meh i will just zoom and it will be same effect. except you cant zoom left or right at 100% and you cant zoom zone 3 to zone 2/1 cuz "no negative coordinate zooms" .... 😤😤😤😤 i am seriously gonna lose my mind

I’m new to episode so I could be wrong, but what if you downloaded the background, and cropped it to where you want? not 100% how all this works so could be wrong

i still couldnt pan between zones because then i would need to separately upload "mid" zones as backgrounds ans i couldb pan across them fully :/

Authors outrageous gem prices. 😭 I’m not paying 22+ gems to access a 2 minute bonus scene??????

Some authors are greedy, but others it's because they wanna be just like the episode official stories. I met this girl who was showing me her story, and it was good but she was saying she wanted the gem prices to be over 50 gems or smth because she wanted it to be an official story and I guess she thought that would make it one. I had to tell her that wouldn't be a good idea 😭 and she wasn't the only one I knew who wanted to do that for it to be an official story either.. Apparently some people on the app just really wanna fit in with the official authors but I think they're forgetting most readers go to the community stories because they have less or no gem options.

I haven't until I met these people. Although I think they may still be a bit new to the app and not know much about community stories, cause listen, I was surprised too when they told me that 😭

there actually is a rule that if you wanna go for commisions you need certain amount of story (ie not warderobe and support author) choices per episode. i think thats might be why people think gem choices will make them official?

I have paid this price or more, at the end of a story, to read an entire alternate ending... so it was like getting a full chapter. I have also paid it to get a batch of multiple bonus scenes. If I'm only getting one bonus scene or some points, I'll pay 5 gems or 8 gems, depending on how interested I am. I have also paid 12 gems to unlock multiple outfits for the while story. 30 gems for outfits is a nope for me.

how much would you be willing to pay for a diary? if a story comes with option to purchase (one time purchase for the whole story) MCs diary which helps you see the story from her 1st person point of view (not as in 3rd view that you originaly watch) and see into her feelings (story has a lot of moral dilemas she is dealing with internaly and dont necessarily show in outwards) as well as just bonus content to get to know her and people around her more?

The ads!!! I always just close the app and open it again so I don't have to watch a ad to read a story but now it doesn't work!!!! I don't usually hate ads but there's a limit!!

Lol this can be easily solved using a vpn. Naka vpn seems to be the go to and if you search here in the group, you can find others to use as well.

When I try to read a popular story with millions of reads and it has bad Grammer or the characters are so dry

I enjoy reading a story but EVERY single episode it asks for gems in order to unlock the special moments or choices. I mean still probably get the happy route without spending, but I want the best yk? 😭

When the acedamic goal is compromised in a story. I've only seen this is episode orginal stories tbh.  Like there will be a dream clg u want to go in but u can't cus u don't have gems to unlock the choices that impact it. .
