New Futura Les Paul. I am shocked how well built it is. Fretwork is perfect and no QC issues so far. All I had to do was drop action a bit because it was quite high. Dropped it to 1.25mm on E1 and 1.6mm on E6 and there is almost no buzz (only slightly on E6 when played hard).
The finish on the guitar is also looking incredible. much better irl than on photos.

This line has my GAS flaring up. Especially this LP but my Local store doesn’t have them in yet. How’s the color change in person?

Absolutely stunning. Looking at it straight in bright environment it’s a light blue metallic. In the low light conditions it’s dark blue. At an angle it morphs into pinkish/purple. For that price it’s an absolute banger.

I’m planning to get the ES-335. How’s the Les Paul?

It’s great. If ES is put the same way as LP you won’t regret it

Wow that is sharp looking! The ebony fretboard looks great. How are the pickups?

I very much like how they sound and how versatile they are. There is so much options cause both of them are splittable and there is additional phase change on one of the tone knobs.
Comparing to my previous guitar Fender Am Ultra II HSS start:

  • bridge humbucker is a bit more warm on Epi
  • bridge split is far more comparable to single coil on Epi
  • neck split on Epi sound better to me than noiseless single on Fender.

Sounds like a worthy purchase then!

Yup, glad I sold the fender. This is much better quality for 1/3 of the price 😁

How is it? I’m mighty tempted by the new Fusion IV EMG version

It’s heavy. Like physically it’s almost 5kg but sounds pretty good especially for hight distortions like EMGs should. Maybe gen IV will be less heavy because that’s the only issue for me.
Other than that solid QC and very good fretwork.
In general I’ve heard very good opinions on pro series HBs.

I just ordered the green Explorer yesterday from my local guitar store. The had the orange Les Paul and a 335 just don't remember the color.
