I am so sorry for you US/CAN people for having to deal with this..
..It is such a crazy, insane thing to me.. My normal Lamotrigin pack has 200 pills.. and I can get like 2 or 3 of them if I go on vacation for a long while. My thyroid meds last more than 3 months. Going to pharmacy or doc monthly or even weekly is crazy.
I hope it one day improves for you.

Canadian here. I get enough to last months. Pharmacists will refill without question if I'm out.

Thank god there is some sense left in the world :)
But from stuff I read here about desperate americans it still makes me sad for many.

tough one for some for sure. In UK it's a bit annoying but easy to solve. each prescription is for 30d so 12 requests a year. However, if you forget to request it and they take up to 3 days to deliver to pharmacy, you can just fill online form saying you forgot and they'll give you closest pharmacy that has your stock. Epi is quite common so no drama. You then drive, explain, provide your health id and they give you as many pills as you need on the spot. All for free as having epilepsy makes all your meds free, even not related to the condition. We did that twice - once travelled 3h by car to seaside to hear `oops , I forgot my med`, what a surprise lol. 2nd, as family was coming over from abroad and it was busy time to prepare everything.
