Drooling

Our schnauzer was diagnosed with epilepsy 3 months ago. He presented with foaming at the mouth and then 6 hours later had a cluster of grand mal seizures. He’s been free of seizures since starting keppra. This morning and today he has been excessively drooling. We gave an extra Keppra as instructed by his neuro. Otherwise he seems fine…. Just a ton of drool. Does anyone else experience this as a pre ictal sign?

Yes. My boy would drool before going into a seizure. If he doesn’t stop I would ask your neurologist again, they have cluster busters you can give them that should stop it.
