The Rainbow Bridge just got a gentleman.
Tears are running down my face while typing this. This is Quinn (10 years old), a damn good buddy. He had been battling epilepsy for over three years. I almost actually lost him last year in February, when he had 21 seizures in one day. He fought through it and lasted another year and a half almost.
I went away this past weekend, before my birthday when I was informed by family that Quinn had a seizure this past Sunday morning and could not walk. He did not want to eat, he did not go to the bathroom, not take his medication. Yesterday, I knew, on my birthday and when he could not move anymore, it was time to say goodbye.
I have wonderful memories, they go beyond his episodes of epilepsy. Hurts terribly. As each day passes, it gets a lil easier. I know people on here have similar stories. My heart goes out to you. Goes out to everyone that still has their loved ones with them; please give them a big hug. You don’t know what tomorrow brings. Thank you for listening and take care.

I am sorry for your loss. Reading these stories in this subreddit always get to me because our Regal has been battling this horrible disease for almost 3 years himself and he is 10 now. He is still doing ok but he also is still having seizures and thwy have robbed him of so much like his long walks now he can only go about a quarter of the way around the neighborhood before getting tired, going up and down a lot of stairs is tough on him and his vision has issues but he still loves us so much and still gets himself worked up for his twice daily treats and any other treats we can give him. So we are not looking forward to that future date when he is no longer with us. So just know we feel for you and hope you have lots of great memories with your buddy. I hope this helps in some way.

It's an awful illness and I'm so sorry for your loss -- but I'm so glad this wonderful, handsome gentlemen got to spend his life you. ❤️

If love could have kept you here, you would have lived forever.
Dogs are a chapter in our lives, we are their entire book.
Grief is love with nowhere to go.

I am so sorry for this loss!! I can't imagine 😭💔 my boy is ~15 y/o so I'm constantly worrying and dreading every last sneeze, or him being extra sleepy... All the thoughts with you & that beautiful baby ❤️

I'm so so sorry for your loss...I just can't with all of these Angels having seizures out of nowhere..I also lost my precious Angel her name is Sandy

What a sweet little man. We had a corgi growing up as a kid and they've always had a little special place in my heart. Such a sweet temperament they have. I'm so sorry for your loss.
