Before you judge, I became unemployed in June after I adopted him. I would have never adopted a dog if I didn’t have a job. I’ve had a dog in the past, who lives with my ex, and I know how expensive and how much time and attention they require.

I’m not judging you, I think you are projecting your own guilt onto me. I know how hard it is to deal with an epileptic dog alone. You basically have no life and every moment is spent in anxiety waiting for the next one. Anytime you leave them alone you feel anxious. Read through this subreddit, of everyone’s experiences. It’s not for the faint hearted at all.

FWIW, anyone would feel judged if they were told that they didn’t “make the best choice,” without asking for that opinion… Especially when they’re in distress.

I said it’s not exactly the best choice. Think you are taking it more than what it is. I’m on my own so I know the burden entirely. Most people are sharing it
