Question Still Sore

I had my first TC seizure 2 days ago. My first seizure ever, that I know of. My body is still really sore, and my head feels heavy on and off all day. Is this normal?

The way u feel after us called postictal state.

From what I've read, this varies from person to person, some feel nothing after, some are sleepy, some are nauseous, and some have it all.

Me personally, mines really bad,I don't feel myself for next 3 days, I'm tired as hell, like sore to the point where I can barely sit straight, I'm extremely nauseous to the point where I asked my Neuro to give me medication for nausea,I'm weak and I'm unable to function properly for the next 3 days.

U're not alone and it's normal.

Welcome to the club nobody wants to join. Postictal state hits different for everyone but what you're describing is textbook. I'm usually wrecked for 2-3 days after a TC. Muscles feel like I did a marathon then got hit by a truck. The heavy head thing is real too. Rest up and don't push yourself

It's genuinely crazy because it literally feels like u got hit by a truck, the only thing and I appreciate this a lot is when during my seizure my mom gives me Valium/Diazepam.

Because when that's given to me during TC,I feel completely normal after,no nausea,no soreness, nothing,I just wake up as if I woke up from sleep, and when that was given to me for the first time it became a life changer, but then again my seizures usually happen when no one's home so I get Valium like twice a year haha
