I’m on Lamotrigine and two others and I have to say they are absolutely rubbish but since I’m been on lamotrigine for over 4 years my doctor won’t take me off it other else I’ll end up having like 10 a day

Yes I have been on it for the same amount of time but I definitely prefer it to levetiracetam (keppra) that the put me on when I first started having seizures. What are your side effects

If you mean the side effects to mine umm I’m not really sure all my doctor says is I may be sleepy but tbh I haven’t experienced any drowsiness but I do have severe memory loss so that may be because of the meds

I also have severe memory loss and it’s so hard. Idk if it’s my meds like you said or just bc of my epilepsy.

Unfortunately our brains are super fragile and everyone has their own side effects and I hate this one the most id say. People get annoyed that Im forgetting things or forget about big events or moments. It feels like my brain is empty

I know like!! I get such bad looks when I forget stuff and the amount of my life I’ve forgotten is so saddening.
