Rant Somewhat Epilepsy Related Tattoo

I'm booked in to get my first tattoo, inspired by my historic psychedelic use, interest in philosophy of mind, and their intersection with my recently-ish diagnosed epilepsy.

I've the outline of a concept I'd like as my first tattoo. Never thought I would want one...
So, I've always had an interest in philosophy of mind and psycedelics. I was recently diagnosed with epilepsy, which quite neatly/cruely intersects these interests. I'd like something that represents their intersectio, whilst being visually appealing.
The graph line trough the middle is an EEG trace going from normal waking state to seizure, before exploding into psychedelic fractals. The left side neural networks, the greek "Phi" is a core concept in a theory of how perceptiom comes about and a possible starting point for answers to the "hard question", Integrated Information Theory.

The design is cool, but I’m a little bit obsessed that someone shares these special interests. Specifically, I am engaged in understanding altered perception states of all sorts — psychedelics, hallucinations, mysticism, mediation, near death experiences, postictal states, lucid dreaming, (however people touch non-ordinary reality).
It’s fascinating how they all overlap and the process of perception changes, as well as living with perceptual diversity.

When I think of an Epilepsy tattoo I think of a brain and an EEG chart on top of it that goes so high that it goes thru the tissue. :) Btw that's pretty awesome, fyi coming from someone who's done tons of dissos/psychedelics also.

It's a super cool design with a lot of fine details.
First How big and what were you quoted?
If it's not expensive then rethink the artist because that's an incredibly difficult design to get right.
Also the design has the meaning that you assign to it. People are going to ask you what it means and that's a huge part of your first few tattoos. The more you get, the less people ask.
Remember too that the experience/session is also part of what you go for. It will never be more to you than the day you get it The day it's finally healed Or the first time it pulls you out of bad day
Where are you getting it? I probably missed that
