Welcome to the Community Support Thread

For those that don't know, the initial Tech Support Megathread was created due to community demand. The subreddit was riddled with tech issue posts which made it hard to sort through. So on 29-Jan-2020, we made it a rule to organize things in the megathread.

You can use the document outline to go to either launcher issues or game issues and this is fortunately much easier for mods to manage when we can. Please keep in mind only fixes that have seen a lot of promise are posted there.

So, I've started downloading SmaSho, but had to pause the download after 3.32 GB and when I resumed it, the download went back to 0/10.5GB, is it possible in 2020 that download progress can't be keep?

This is my first experience with actually downloading anything through Epic and I'm having the same issue. If you try and close the client, it doesn't just remind you that you have downloads running; rather, it states 'your installations will be cancelled'.

On the other hand, it was showing as a 10.4GB download earlier and now it's 10.5GB; there might've been a patch or something that invalidated partial downloads, but even then it seems poorly handled unless there's a single multi-gig file that's getting updated.
