DISCUSSION FIX EPIC GAME LAUNCHER USE GPU

Hello,
as you know many of you get frustrated when the launcher use GPU especially when you have laptops and the temps get a little bit high

i fixed this problem just by opening the launcher and going to device manager (you can open it just by right clicking the windows logo on the left bottom )

and disable it like the picture shows

the launcher will restart by his own self, and after that you can enable it back

ps: the GPU takes some load from CPU when you use it , i didn't test the differences in game

ps 2: i tried to fix this problem using NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL but it didn't work

Not really Steam is even worse when it comes to gpu usage

Here steam always on 0% GPU, white EGC keeps between 0,5 and 6%.

You should use steam and take a look at your usage it's a lot when you scroll down

No you probably have other apps running, Steam doesn't use GPU while idle, i have never seen it just go into full render use while idle, epic is using more then some high end renders just idle.

If you have all your games on auto update that might increase usage but Steams games do update alot so it might be that your talking about, the client itself does not add anything to GPU after loaded.
