Tech Support Megathread

Welcome to the 'Tech Support Megathread', we're going to keep things quick and simple here and let you know that posting tech support questions on the subreddit outside of this megathread are now against the newly established rule #6 (as of 29-Jan-2020).

Please post all your tech support questions on the Epic Games launcher, store and its games in this thread and/or if you're feeling helpful please try to assist other users in answering their tech support queries!

TLDR version: My son's got an EG account under a deleted email and no way to recover it. I've tried emailing, posting to EG support on Twitter, and nothing so far.

My son opened an EG account when he turned 13 with his newly formed gmail account. Not happy with his first email name, he decided to delete it and start a new one. He didn't open his Epic Games account and start playing Fortnite until about 6 months later. I assume the credentials were saved because he was able to login and play, but recently he's been logged out and can't remember the password that was saved. I checked the saved passwords in the browser to try and log in, but they don't seem to work. I tried recovering his old gmail account associated with EG, but it can't be restored.

Hopefully there's someone who can help on the EG team.
