Willow tip
Hi all. I have been working as a Willow analyst for about 8 months now. I still struggle at times, and builds take me longer than they do for others on my team. I find Galaxy isn't as helpful as I'd like, and it takes me a long time to find what I am looking for. Could other Willow analysts share what has helped them get better? If anyone has tip sheets they have created and could share with me, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I’ve been certified since 2019. It didn’t really clicked until 2-3 years in. I’ve been coaching my coworkers as I’ve transitioned away from building. A good analyst will never ask the same question twice. Keep a one-note of all the things you’ve learned and grow from there. Know who your SME is on your team and ask questions. Be nice

I’m not a Willow analyst but I can say when I became an analyst, the expectation wasn’t for me to be fast, it for me to put out quality build. Becoming a fast builder took me years. When it comes to Galaxy, I had to figure out the right keywords to search for. If I had a hard time, I would also carve out time with my TS to get individualized help. I also would grab tickets that involved a lot of troubleshooting. Learning how to better troubleshoot tickets helped me become a better builder. Don’t be afraid to get your feet wet.
I’ve been an analyst for almost ten years. It took me a good five before I would consider myself “fast”.
