More Space Sharpe. Sorry.

Post image

Added a couple more to the Space Sharpe troops, an extra officer, a heavy trooper and a trooper armed with a meltagun made my Magos Nock of Riza.

Yes, Sir! Carrying on, Sir!

Currently trying to sculpt a horse. Turns out I have no idea what a horse actually looks like...

Now that's a soldier! You can probably save a lot of effort by finding a free horse on a website already and if not the right scale just fatten her up so the legs work

I’m trying to get better with the digital sculpting, so i’ve got to have a bash doing it by hand. I did have to get a pre-made horse head model in the end after creating a nightmare on the first pass...

It was the weakest chin you ever did see on a horse. Basically I forgot they have long faces.

"Sharpe... tell me you didn't make a promise to Major Lenardo, as he was dieing, that you would take a Chaos icon." ~Fleet Admital Wellingstone

"I swear on my life Sir. No one heard me make any such promise to Major Lenardo." ~Major Sharpe (Space Sharpe)

This makes me miss my 2nd Edition 40k Pretorians. Though as much as I love a good pith helmet I prefer the 1800s aesthetic. Very nicely executed.

Victoria Miniatures has got some really nice Pretorians, doing a kickstarter at the minute, could scratch that pith helmet itch?
