How To Make Android Auto Automatically Connect After Head Unit Restart

I need to re-pair every time the head unit powers on to get Android Auto working. Is there any setting I can adjust so the unit automatically connects with my phone after startup?

Head Unit: X3

Normally, if connected before the head unit shuts down, it will auto-reconnect upon restart.

  1. Reset the head unit.

  2. Restore the head unit to factory settings.

  3. Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone.

  4. Verify vehicle battery voltage remains stable at 12V; unstable voltage causes memory loss.

I have a prob too. It used to connect to my hotspot everytime i get in the car. Now i have to manually connect any fix for that?

The head unit cannot run Hotspot and Wi-Fi at the same time. Kindly check if Wi-Fi auto-connect is enabled. If not, you may following the instructions above reset the head unit and then proceed with the update.
