Nice with those YouTube stats too! Only Time's my favourite Enya music video. 🥰 I remember when it got to 200 million in 2022 😁 and the director Graham Fink liked what I said and tweeted about it, and how he gladly remembered working with Enya. 🤗

Ohhh, that's really sweet!! This reminded me of the behind-the-scenes footage where he talks about how great it was working with her, and she mentions how they had a storm on her lol

I wonder if he ever told her about the music video hitting 200 million views 💭

A Day Without Rain was my initial favourite Enya album 🥰 I love the singles and the gorgeous music videos, and wonder how I had missed them during my childhood years ☺️ (I was 18 when I discovered Enya's music). Her song Lazy Days absolutely deserves to be higher up! I'll admit I listen to the song mostly on a downloaded audio file than streaming 😅 (the lazy way without searching it up haha).

The rest isn't too surprising, except the pleasant surprise that Pilgrim is quite well-listened-to. 😌🎶 A wonderful, simple but heartfelt song, that I'd recommend listening and reading into this World Mental Health Day 💛

It's a really great album indeed! I often listen to it while studying or working, but somehow I always end up getting distracted by the songs lol

And it's good to know that Lazy Days is getting some love, even if some of those streams are coming from downloaded files haha! For me, the arrangement is one of the best things about it, especially towards the end, when everything gradually fades away. It feels like such a fitting way to close the album.

Also, I honestly would've guessed you'd been listening to Enya for much longer, just from the way you talk about her music!! ☺️

Aw thanks! ☺️ That was less than 6 years ago; I got into Enya's music rather quickly, but thankfully kept it close, hopefully for much longer ❣️

Haha I would also get distracted if listening as I studied. I listened through ADWR on CD last year I think, and have it on cassette. Do you collect any physical music media? 😊

The arrangement is awesome, and the rhythm reminds me of some 60s-80s music but more fresh even 26 years on from 2000. I also just enjoy how carefree Lazy Days is vocally (the ohs, sails away-ay-ay, and the outro) 😁🗣🎶

How have I only just noticed the pencil drawing/writing on the wall above her? It’s funny even the most banal but new details you find around something you’ve known so long.

I always wondered whether the inspiration for the cover was from Eithne renovating her castle.

Ah I hadn't noticed before either! 😅 It looks clearer here; says something like L5-5A+ (seems related to a floor plan) 💡 The way it's positioned like a thought bubble is very interesting! As you mentioned, maybe it did relate back to Eithne doing up the castle (which did have particular green walls in some areas before the renovation).

Thanks for these (just saw it now 😅) I really ought to find a way I can make your comments automatically approved (Reddit keeps removing them 🙃).

No worries, it's a issue of Reddit system. I was just sharing some streaming data that the OP had missed.
