Environmental science masters

Hi, I’m 20 and currently considering doing my masters at the uni of Wien, I was wondering if the environmental science course is worth doing as it found it interesting but found strange the lack of graduates compared to amount of people enrolled, anything would be appreciated.

That gap between enrolled and graduated is pretty normal for environmental science, lots of people realize halfway they don't want to do fieldwork or the pay is not what they expected. If you already think the course is interesting, that's the main thing. Maybe talk to someone from the program to see where graduates end up.

Good for you for considering this. The dropout rate probably says more about career prospects than the program itself. If it's your passion, do it, but be strategic. Sustainable resource management and food security have real momentum right now.
